Dokota's a Boy Scout. He was fairly new, smallest AND youngest one there. The kids at school would make fun of him, and call him a girl. He wanted to show them being a Boy Scout is manly! One of the boys had a scarf, his favorite color.
"Let's make a bet, if you see i'm not a girl... Then I get that scarf of yours!" Snickered Dakota
"What?! No- I mean, deal..." He puffed.
Dakota invited the boys over to his camp for a week. "I bet these boys sell girl scout cookies..." Chuckled one of the boys. They all laughed.
"No, we don't..." Grumbled Dakota. "This will be your cabin, it's supposed to be haunted..." Dakota said in a suspenseful voice. The boys walked in the cabin, seemed nice. They settled in, and it was time for the first activity.
ACTIVITY #1 - A RACE
"A race? Hah! I'll be all ya'll!" Said the boy with the scarf. His name was Rick, he was the popularist plumerian in Dakota's school... "Ready, set? Go!" Yelled the camp Councler. The boys ran, of course Rick and his little group were the fastest. For now at least... A rocky hill was ahead, were they prepared? First thing one of Rick's boys tripped over a rock, then another. They got up, but were at the back of the pack. Dakota and a few other kids were catching up when they met the muddy area. Mud was splashing everywhere, Rick seemed a bit surprised. Were not doing arts-n-crafts? Surprising... Thought Rick. Dakota was in 3rd place, Rick in 1st.
"I guess your little girl camp isn't that girly, but I need more proof!" Sassed Rick. "Oh you'll see something manly...!"
They did many activities, but this one was sure to prove Rick wrong!
ACTIVITY #7- IN THE WOODS
The last night, last activity. They had to stay in the woods, with nothing but food, a canteen, and the forest's supplies.
Rick, Dakota, and a couple other kids were in one group. "I'm the leader, ya hear that?" Rick stated. No one said anything, so he was the leader.
"I'll make the fire, I guess?" Dakota said, getting sticks together. He had flint and stone, paper, and twigs.
"I'll gather some sticks!" Said the other kid.
"I'll, uh.. Keep watch." Said Rick.
"You have to do something... Like go get some water." Said Dakota handing Rick the canteen. Rick snatched it and headed to the creek. Dakota started to build the shelter, it seemed good!
-Sticks
-Mud
-Clay
Perfect! "This will keep us safe, and I packed the blankets and pillows! This is good!" Said Dakota, talking to himself.
He realized Rick wasn't back, he went to find him. When Dakota reached Rick, he was still getting water into the canteen.
I'll scare him... Dakota thought. He put twigs and leaves in his fur, and mud as well. It was getting dark, perfect.
When Rick got up, Dakota jumped out. "Raaaaaw!!" Screamed Dakota. Rick screamed, dropped the canteen, and ran off. Dakota laughed, he screamed like he was a girl!
When everyone was at the shelter, Rick told them about the "monster". They went to sleep, and Rick was convinced Dakota wasn't a girl.
The next morning, Rick threw the scarf at Dakota's feet. "Have it, you-you proved me wrong..." Sighed Rick looking down at his feet. Dakota had the scarf, he was happy. The story went around school that Rick got proved wrong, he was embarrassed. Dakota had new friends, and a new scarf.
