Elise's parents were two different breeds. Her mom was a full Quarter horse, and her dad was a Leopard Spotted Appaloosa horse. She grew up in a mixed wild horse herd. She grew up in Arkansas wild forests. Her herd traveled around a lot, and lived in many different horses.

When the horse's in her head turned 15, they were allowed to choose leave or stay. Elise had always wanted to see the rest of the world and her heart tugged for her to go. She left the herd and went her own way. She found a new herd after traveling for 6 days. She decided to join them.

The herd required her to dye the tips of her hair a blue color. That's how she got her dipped dyed hair. Her new herd has been traveling around the states, and she has been with them ever since.

Elise has always followed her own heart. She has always done things to make her stand out from the heard. She hates the norm. Elise is also very strong headed and will always speak her mind. Edward may be small, but he certainly isn't helpless. Strong both in mind and body, he can go against any foe and win. In a battle of wits, he creams his opponents. In a tangible battle of brute and brawn, he will usually win as well. He can often be found practicing his battle moves on his brother, Alphonse, who welcomes the challenge of battling his older - though smaller - brother. When just looking at Edward, you wouldn't think much of him. He's very small for his age, and is even shorter than his younger brother! Most people think of him as the younger brother, and he often gets annoyed with how many people really think he's a little kid. He just happens to be small, and he'll be the first to remind you that surprises often come in small packages.

Edward has an excellent relationship with his younger brother. The two of them may have their spats, but no matter what stupid little thing they can be seen arguing over, they'll never hate each other. They will always remain the best of friends and the closest of souls. Because of their tragic pasts, the two brothers are more close than siblings usually are. They are willing to give their lives for one another. You'll rarely find Ed without Al, as they usually stick close to each other, neither wishing to depart from the other brother's side.

Even with all of his great personality traits, Edward does have his downfalls. He tends to appear depressed. Edward really doesn't smile very often. Truly, when he does smile, you should be wary. It usually means he's won an argument or a battle of some sort - or he legitimately found whatever morose thing he's stumbled upon as funny. Also, he can be very stubborn and easily-irritable. He often snaps at others when they don't do what he wants. He can sometimes act immature and bratty if he doesn't get his way. Honestly, when he's angry, it's his way or the highway. He'll literally start scratching and biting you if you don't do as he wishes. When in an argument, he'll often yell and throw a fit. He relies upon scare tactics to get his opponents to be afraid of him - though these often backfire, due to his small stature and friendly appearance. That's not even taking into account how stubborn this little guy is. If you want to get through to him once he's made up his mind, you're a braver soul than I am. Trying to get him to budge when he doesn't want to is like trying to make a sleepy donkey haul rocks up a mountain - in other words, it won't ever happen, and by attempting to make it happen, you may get hurt in the process.

Personality:



If Elsie is anything, it's jealous. She is very easily turned green with envy, even if it's for something as stupid as someone else owning a better jacket than her. However, most don't know she's jealous due to her greatness at hiding her own emotions. She's very secretive, and rarely shows what she's feeling. This can often come back to bite her, though, as because she hides most everything, she has a nasty tendency to bottle up her emotions - particularly the negative ones - and then, when she's least expecting it, they'll fly out with fury and vengeance unlike that which anyone has ever seen. When she gets into a fit of rage, don't you DARE stand in her way - she'll take you down without a bat of her eyelashes. Stubborn and determined, once she sets her mind on something, she is never swayed from obtaining her goal - even if that goal isn't the most kind-hearted or heroic. With her quick wit and trickery, she often bamboozles even the best of people into believing she's something that she's not. She takes pride in the fact that she can pull the wool over anyone's eyes, no matter how un-trickable they may think they are. The only thing she loves doing more than stirring up trouble is watching others suffer from the chaos she's caused.

Elsie is very protective of the few things she owns that she holds dear. She is often borderline-obsessive over making sure that they're safe and sound - take, for instance, her collection of encyclopedias. Elsie has a thing for words and using new ones, so she absolutely adores her encyclopedias more than any other book she owns. She will often triple-check that they're dusted, dry, and safely in her bookcase before she goes to bed every single night. This routine of checking and re-checking and re-checking again can take up to an hour more than she intends - but she excuses her paranoia on the false pretense that "someone could have come in while I was in another room and destroyed them!" Her OCD tends to act up at the worst possible times, and she can often be found stressing herself out further by having to check, re-check, and re-check things over and over and over until she's completely satisfied that everything's okay.

Elsie is a poor, paranoid soul. She is wary of everyone, and trusting of few. When something absolutely horrendous does happen, she often blames others for her own mistakes. She'll never take responsibility for collateral damage, and won't really care if someone gets hurt...unless that someone is her very own self. She often has impractical solutions for things, and will go out of her way to do something the hard way instead of taking the easier route.

It could be argued that all of her issues are due to her Bipolar Disorder or her Survival's Guilt, but not all of her flaws can be explained away by medical terminology. Some would say Elsie's just a bad apple - but personally, I think she was just never raised right, and that horrid upbringing and tragic past has made her the twisted, warped, easily-hurt individual she is today.

However, much like a high-end citizens, she's extremely selfish and dishonest and isn't afraid to twist her words (and the words of others) to her advantage. Career - "I hear you have great possessions, I should come over sometime!"
China's career is one that very few can perfect like she can, at least, that what she believes. She's a professional cat burglar. In order to get her job done, she travels to many various cities and places and always claims to be on "vacation" with the money she earns through work. When asked about her job, she simply asserts that she's an endless working secretary for a high-end company that rarely gives her days off. Only an intensive background check would be able to prove otherwise. She also does extensive research on the people of her locations to see which corporations or businesses have successful leaders with wealthy pockets. With her tactic of stealing money only from the most successful of profiteers, her actions usually get noticed as funding mistakes or an error in numbers. This is how she keeps herself from getting caught. However, her behavior requires that if she finds a piece of jewelry that she simply must try on... chances are she won't take it off before leaving.

If the Firmans have learned anything about family, it's that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Burglary is a family business that accompanies the Firman name and not a single one of them would have it any other way. They like what they do, and they take what they like. From their great-grandfather, a wise con man, to even the pettiest of toddler thieves, everyone in their immediate family pockets their interests. China's father runs a "favorable" business that sells fake items-her mother enjoys imitating maids at hotels-the older sister steals collectibles to resell them and the younger brother of the family walks by the candy shop every day to take a piece or two for his own. Due to their constant moving, it's difficult for most to be able to catch them in the act of thievery-especially when they pull out the famous "Firman Tears" that could melt the coldest of hearts into sympathetic beings (with some lies here and there). However, if there is but one redeeming quality of their's, it's that they always support each other no matter what.

Despite living as a stray for almost her entire life, and being on the receiving end of some terrible treatment
by humans, Flo is still friendly towards those she meets. If a child runs up to stroke her she won't shy away or
bite them, though their mothers will quickly sprint up to drag them away. Flo is happy to share any meagre
dinner she is able to secure and she respects others' territory, though she doesn't have one herself.

Selfless
Flo is selfless to a degree. She has been known to risk her life saving puppies on the side of the road or fight
dogs in order to ensure the safety of others, though when it comes to food, if she is absolutely starving and
knows food will be difficult to come by for a while, she keeps it for herself. She may be kind and selfless but
she is a stray, and life for a stray in the Big City is difficult.

Intelligent
If a dog wants to survive in the Big City, unsheltered by humans and lacking a secure food source, they need
to be intelligent. Even the goofiest puppy learns to be a lean, mean, fighting machine on these streets, with
the brains to match. Flo knows how to easily avoid humans and outwitting them is her main method of snagging
a meal, while some of the larger, more stupid dogs are easily overpowered using a little strength and wit. She
is able to quickly assess situations and come up with ideas to benefit from them or to avoid them.

Quiet
Flo is quiet. Mainly because she's mute, but also because... yeah, I think the muteness should explain enough.

Use: Alright, I'll admit it! I have a huge weakness for well thought out closed species characters. And to be honest, the idea doesn't haev to be very original to catch my attention. It just needs to be well-developed. Now, this being said, I think that Neua Lions are not only unique, but they're also well-developed, original, and all of them are designed so beautifully! My good friend Micki. made this cute little guy, and I've been staring at him waiting for the opportune moment to try out for him ever since he was donated. I have a weakness for his many shades of brown and the green accent on him is even sweeter. I actually have few characters with green in their color palette, so this boy was immediately intriguing!

During the process of developing Neua Lions, writing all of their information, and publishing the website, Micki. consulted me a bit about ideas and about her own Neua Lions. Having such close contact to the species made me incredibly envious because I very much wanted to take part in it! I have to tell you the truth, this boy is key to a well-developed, highly loved main character! I don't tend to try to adopt characters from the SCAA unless I know that they'll be receiving a prominent place in my heart. Why? There are many factors, of course. A key factor would be the amount of heart and dedication form-adoption requires adopters to put in! I make sure that I have the utmost connections with the characters that I attempt to adopt. Why else? I want to ensure that characters who were no longer loved by their original designer or owner and were donated here will get the best possible home - I want to be sure I can provide it for them! I having a strong connection with this boy, who I am going to call Chalice, and I have big, big plans if I'm able to adopt him!

His use will be as a main character. He'll receive a page on my website, he'll never be sold or traded, he'll be frequently drawn, I'll order many art pieces of him, and I'll show him off on the Character Adoption Addicts Anonymous's forum. I'm hoping to perhaps roleplay him! I haven't roleplayed in a while, but I've been trying to find one solid character to do a literate roleplay with to help build my writing skills back up! Name: Chalice
The name is derived from the Greek word "kalyx" and the Latin word "calix." A chalice is a cup, usually made of expensive materials and property of the wealthy.

Gender: Male

Sexuality:
Chalice has a very hard exterior; this renders him incapable of feeling true love or romantic attraction. He has no time for the pleasures of a committed romantic relationship. However, Chalice is very much attracted to the opposite sex; he only has interest in pursuing a sexual relationship with females.

Species: Neua Lion

The Neua Lion is a subspecies of lions created by Micki. with a connection to the Greek gods. The species has very specific parameters and conditions under which they live.


Physically, they're very similar to the extinct American Lion. They're very large, much larger than other lion subspecies. Males generally have very luscious manes, which can be similar to an African lion's mane or more unique. Females also have manes, but they're generally smaller and more like hair. Males generally have tails similar to most lions, but they're made of much more fur. Females often have tails more closely resembling the tail of other big cats (snow leopards, clouded leopards and leopards being the most common). Both genders can be born with bob tails, but it's fairly rare.

They're often born with natural colored pelts that get unnatural marking soon after birth. The markings are slow to reach their full intensity. Generally, their markings start to appear anywhere from a week to a month after they're born. Any sooner than a week and they're thought to be special lions. Later than five months and they're also thought to be special lions. Lions who don't develop unnatural markings are also thought to be special. As they start to reach adulthood, the unnatural markings on Neua lions fade away and they're left with a natural pelt. Once they're adults, they have to 'earn' their markings back.

The lions themselves are closely linked with the Greek gods. They receive their markings from a god, this god takes the markings away when they're adults and then gives them back once they have earned them. Each lion is given a god, much like a Catholic child is given a saint, and this god watches over them very closely. Each lion gets to choose his god, but it's said that each lion will choose the god he is destined to, and the gods already know which god they will pick. After all, if they didn't, then how would a lion get his first unnatural markings? Some special lions are even believed to be able to speak with their god. It's thought that lions that started to get their unnatural markings before one week, after five months or didn't get any at all had this happen because their god saw fit to bless them with some sort of special power.

Use: This kiddo just seems like one of those characters that you could turn into just about anything! I can already imagine the perfectly queer personality that xe'll carry along with xer quaint habits! I can't help but lustfully imagine all of the gorgeous art I could order of xem as well! Just take one look at Pippin here! Xe looks like such a fun character to develop with such interesting anatomy and such extensive potential; instead, however, xe is sitting in a kennel here at the Symphony Character Adoption Agency. I would love to take xem in because I could give xem a new life as a member of my tightly knit character family. Xe would fit in perfectly! I've been battling depression lately and have been looking for a new, fun character to possibly help curve this. I can't imagine writing for Pippin and being able to stay sad, because xe is just such a comical character!
