Matt dipped his head down and drank some of the fresh cool water. It felt good on his throat as it washed down leaving a cool feeling. He then lifted his head up and water droplets fell off his whiskers before he meowed, "I hope there is because I really don't feel like swimming." He then continued on with drinking from the river.

Eagleclaw was dreaming about catching a mouse. He gave a small smirk then immediately woke up when he heard his leaders voice call out to him. The cat gave a sigh in disappointment of being back to reality but he didn't mind. "What is it Tigerstar?." The American asked his leader.

"Could you lead the dawn patrol?" Tigerstar asked.

Alphonse turned towards his brother, mischief sparkling in his pale eyes. The tom moved closer to his brother before slamming his paws down in the stream. Water shot up in all directions, spraying him in the face. "Ha!"

"A Rainclan cat...?" Cookie sat down in the soft grass. Her housefolk's backyard was adorned with flowers, shrubbery, and a small garden near the birdhouse. " Sorry for asking but what's a clan..?" The kittypet cocked her head in confusion.

"Eh yah I guess so." Eagleclaw responded with a shrug. "Whys that?"

Matt yowled in anoyance and he backed up. "I just said I don't want to swim nor getting water in my fur." He snarled.

"A clan Is a place where many cats feed, raise, heal, and just take care of each other." Earlgray explained in the best way he could.

Alphonse smirked, "Lighten up Matt, it's raining anyways." He stood back up and scanned the stream for a path across. "I think there's a fallen tree over there." He used his tail to point in the direction of the tree.

"Oh! Like some of the rogues in the city...well those cats aren't very nice but the clans sound friendly." Cookie mewed happily. She noticed her enthusiasm and calmed down, "Sorry, I don't want to stop you from going about your duties."

"It still doesn't matter." Matt snapped back before he whipped his head to where Alphonse meowed to.

"Sort of and your fine. Besides it was nice talking to you anyways. Maybe we could see each other another day or maybe... Tonight if your free." Earlgray suggested with a small blush.

"Eh yah I guess so." Eagleclaw responded with a shrug. "Whys that?"
