Earlgray jumped slightly and arched his back with his head whipping up to the cat who had spoken to him. "Hello there uh, hey what's your point in bloody watching me anyways?!" He meowed calmly then snarled.

Matt saw his brothers fumble and stick out his tongue in mock before he continued on. The male watched his step and right when he was about to leap at the prey a bird cawed in the distance making Matt yelp and stumble on his face. He got up quickly and looked at his brother with shock in his eyes.

Alphonse laughed obnoxiously, "Nice one, mousebrain!" After his stumble he returned with the rabbit in his jaws. "I guess you can have first pick, I'm not that hungry anyways."

Cookie frowned, "I- I was not watching you! I was simply observing the forest when you barged in and interrupted me!" The shecat sputtered. She lashed her tail, "Just be glad the dog wasn't out here, he's not very fond of cats."

Matt looked at the ground embarrassed before he nodded in responce to his brothers responce.

"Dog you say? Ah they are stupid. Give them a bone and bam." The Brit laughed before he grabbed his prey and padded to Cookie.

Alphonse nudged the rabbit towards his brother with a paw. He sat down and looked at a few scratches on his back leg. He cleaned the 'scar' with a flick of his tongue. "So what do you wanna do today?" He asked.

Cookie watched him move closer, "Is that for your housefolk? Mine usually don't accept the birds I leave them on the front steps." She mewed in interest.

Hickorysprout shrugged, "I may stop by the apprentice den during the evening then send her on her way."

"Housefolke? No no no you got it all wrong I'm a clan cat to be exact." Earlgray meowed before he placed the prey down. "You can take it I... guess."

The male started to eat the rabbit and he saved half for his brother. He looked up after chewing and swallowing then responded, "Don't know. You make the choice again I guess."

"I guess we could go looking for a better place to stay. That log is covered in fungus." Alphonse mewed.
"I don't know about you but I don't feel like going back to the twoleg city for awhile." He tried stretching his leg a bit, besides the sharp sting of pain he'd be alright.

Cookie stared at the shrew in confusion, "You want me to eat it...?" She poked it with a small paw. "The bones and everything?" She flicked her tail feeling stupid.
