Zareyl's are a bat/feline hybrid. They are quite small, though between the different types the sizes vary.(The biggest is the size of a house cat) All have very poor eye sight, so it's a 50/50 chance that they will be blind. They are a Nocturnal creatures and possess echolocation. Their claws are not retractable, so they do dull over time.

Soul Gems are something that is created when each Zareyl is born. Each are bright, its very uncommon for the gem to be a dark shade. (The only reason for it to be dark would because its dying) They normally have it attached to themselves somewhere(a gem in some kind of item) and they guard them fiercely. Though it is possible for it to take another 'spirit' form that follows them around. When the gem is in the spirit form, it cant be touched, but it will tire the Zareyl greatly. If the gems are destroyed the Zareyl will die.

4. Designs may not be changed/altered. Accessories are allowed to be added. Gem item may not be changed.
5. Currently no limit for how many you can own.
6. NO reselling your Zareyl. You may trade you Zareyl for another Zareyl.
7. You may gift your Zareyls but please let me know first!!
7. No breeding your Zareyl's yourself. Can not breed with other species.

If you dont want your Zareyl anymore and do not wish to trade/gift let me know so I can put it back up for adoption.

Sizing:



Depends a lot of times on the type of wings. Ones with feathered wings tend to be on the larger side, where ones with pixie wings end up being on the smaller side.

Its very rare for it to happen, but there is a very small chance of a Zareyl to be pygmy sized. (They'd be smaller then a foot)

Soul:

It normal sits in whats called a soul holder, it turns into a gem when its not in its spirit form. Most of the time it's in a piece of jewelry. Sometimes it can be a weapon or a piece of clothing.

I dont think I would make customs count as a limit, if I ever end up making one.
