Sky leaped up into the fence in her owner's backyard. Beside her, her brother Storm did the same. The two cats looked upon the forest with blue and green eyes. "We should go and explore!" Sky said to her brother. His gruff demeanor deepened and her turned his green eyes on her. It was the third time she had asked in the past two days and Storm growled in frustration. "Fine, but stay close to me." The tom and she-cat leaped of the fence and to the forest below. The padded deeper inside and Sky stayed close to her brother.

"This." Brindle padded into her den and returned with three voles. She placed them down. "Vash will eat one and you will eat one."

Vash looked at the voles. He sniffed one to make sure they weren't rotten or anything. Scenting one with a different scent he picked the one up beside it.
