Have you ever do a art trade or design trade with someone and put all you effort into it. And then when you got their half back you where disappointed because it was just a standing pose with minimal shading? If so should you tell the person you were disappointed or just keep quiet and be happy they did something?
hi hi, sorry i havent posted anything in so long lmao ive just decided to reply to this since i feel kinda strongly on the matter qvq
im someone who does a lot of art trades, since i often dont have enough anything to pay for art / its easier for me in the long run. ive both received simple things and given them. honestly, it's not something worth being disappointed about. everyone has bad days with their artwork. sometimes you draw something fantastic, with an exciting pose and everything, and other days its just not coming out right. you cant get the character to look good in the pose maybe, or you cant get the eyes quite right. maybe its just something doesnt click. but you dont want to be an ass and post late, esp when the other person has already submitted theirs. i always feel glad when people do trades with me, even if the art isnt as i expected. they were lovely enough to do anything at all. so i tend to just leave it at that.
you kinda have to remember that youre not that person, and you dont know whats going on with them. they just may not be able to produce anything exciting with the character [ i find this especially true when i dont get any personality or pose ideas tbh ].

I've been gone rom CS for almost a year now due to family problems and I think I've come back just in time for another new thread. xD Well anyways in my absence there has been absolutely no character development and no one has show interest in the characters I've been trying to let go of, so I guess a place to start on trying to get back on my feet would be to list the characters Im letting go of.
