- The Verzax is the chief, leader, or the 'alpha' of the clan. He/She makes important decisions, with some help from the Eltafhar. The Verzax contains a lot of power and responsibility, often he/she is one of the most powerful canines, if not the most powerful, in the entire clan. There is only one Verzax.
Eltafhar - The Eltafhar are like shamans. He/She has the special ability to catch glimpses of the future, and warn the clan of foreboding events to come. The prophecies the Eltafhar deliver never completely make sense and are difficult to decipher, but they almost always come true. The Eltafhar also acts an advisor, or a guide. The Eltafhar is the one who the Verzax goes to in order to get good advice. The Eltafhar is one of the very few canines in the clan who has the right to challenge the Verzax's decisions. There is only one Eltafhar.
Mardak - The Mardak is second-in-command. They act much like the Verzax, and help run the clan, particularly when the Verzax is away. They are destined to take over the clan when the Verzax passes away, retires, is unable to cope with their duties, or is banished. The Mardak is leader of the Malthen, Rejkahn, Grelvan, Seihen, and Firhon. There is only one Mardak.
Arjei - The Arjei are the healers of the clan. They take care of and heal the injured and sick. They usually have the innate ability to sense what causes and where their patient's pain is. The Arjei do not appreciate violence, and avoid it at all costs. There are rarely more than five Arjei in the clan at a time.
Lead Malthen - The Lead Malthen is the leader of the Malthen. They are the most skilled and experienced Malthen and is the one who organizes and commands them. If something were to happen to the Mardak, the lead Malthen would take over the role. There is only one Lead Malthen.
Lead Rejkahn - The Lead Rejkahn is the leader of the Rejkahn. They are the most skilled and experienced Malthen and is the one who organizes and commands them. There is only one Lead Rejkahn.
Lead Grelvan - The Lead Grelvan is the leader of the Grelvan. They are the most skilled and experienced Grelvan and is the one who organizes and commands them. There is only one Lead Grelvan.
Lead Seihen - The Lead Seihen is the leader of the Seihen. They are the most skilled and experienced Seihen and is the one who organizes and commands them. There is only one Lead Seihen.
Lead Firhon - The Lead Firhon is the leader of the Firhon. They are the most skilled and experienced Firhon and is the one who organizes and commands them. There is only one Lead Firhon.
Malthen - The Malthen are like the 'elite.' They surpass the abilities of an ordinary canine and do well in all the basic positions. To become a Malthen, one must pass a test and display exemplary skill in all basic tasks, which are fighting, hunting, guarding, and scouting. The Malthen are the 'senior' members of the clan, and have served it for quite some time, and are very experienced. There are usually only around seven or more Malthen.
Illana - The Illana are the mothers of the clan. When a female has pups, she automatically becomes an Illana until they grow up. They take care of and watch over pups. Once an Illana's pups grow up, they return to their original duties. They are not obligated to do so though, and may permanently remain as an Illana, if they prefer caring for pups rather than whatever their original rank was. There are an unlimited number of them.
Pups - Pups are..Well, puppies. They are the young members of the clan who are unable to do anything useful other than to be adorable. The clan is fiercely protective of them, as they are the future. A pup remains a pup until they grow old enough to become a Rin. There are an unlimited number of them.
Rejkahn - The Rejkahn are the fighters and warriors of the clan. It is their duty to fight to defend the clan from danger. The Rejkahn often accompany the Firhon when they scout new areas. There are an unlimited number of them.
Grelvan - The Grelvan are like guards. They patrol the base camp, protecting it from intruders. The Grelvan often team up with the Rejkahn to defend the clan. There are an unlimited number of them.
Seihen - The Seihen are the hunters of the clan. They spend most of their time hunting prey to feed the clan. There are an unlimited number of them.
Firhon - The Firhon are the scouts. They are sent out to scout out new areas and territory for the clan to take. There are an unlimited number of them.
Rin - The trainees of the clan. When pups have grown more independent and mature, they become Rin. They first take a short test to see which position seems to suit them best; Arjei, Rejkahn, Grelvan, Seihen, or Firhon. Depending on the results, they begin training for the position they are best suited for. They train for several months until their mentor deems them fit enough to be promoted to their desired rank. There are an unlimited number of them.
Unur - The Unur are the lowest position in the clan. They are often mistreated by their clanmates. The Unur perform the tasks nobody else wants to do, like cleaning up the base camp and other meandering tasks. An Unur may become a higher rank if they manage to do a great act of service to the clan, but this is very rare. If an Unur becomes an Illana, they must become an Unur once more once her pups become Rin. There are at least two in the clan at a time.

I will be posting under this cover different characters which are open for breeding. Just use the form below. Do take note though, some characters are more picky over mates than others, depending on how high their rank is, their personality, or the amount of line edits they have.

Welcome to the Vagantem Clan. Vagantem means 'Wandering' in Latin. We contain one large expanse of territory that we inherited form our ancestors, and it is so vast that we are constantly on the move, traveling to different base camps scattered all over, never settling for more than a few months in one area. Why a clan, and not a pack you ask? Well, we just prefer being called a clan instead of a pack.
The Vagantem Clan is very diverse, many of the canines found here have varying talents, powers, and mutations. The Vagantem rarely ever take on a lifelong partner, and freely breed with whoever they like, although inbreeding is strictly forbidden.
