Just a friendly reminder to artists: If your adopt has only a couple entries and you don't think they are good enough to win the Voxxie, you DO NOT have to award it. You WILL have to end the competition once the timer on the front page runs out, but you do not have to award a winner. The Voxxies which are not adopted out during this event I have a plan for, so please don't feel obligated to give them out just because there are entries for them.

Thanks for everyone who participated! Soon normal Voxxies will be up for adoption, but for now, I have to deal with the Voxxies left over from the CNY Event that no one adopted.

Artists who haven't released their Voxxies as of today - take all the time that you need to complete the finishing touches on your Voxxies. Please release them as soon as you can, but don't rush - take your time on them. Just because the event is technically "over" doesn't mean you can't release them and give them great homes. I'm a stickler for deadlines, sure - but I understand if circumstances arose that prohibited you from releasing them on time. And I don't expect a response from any of you - I want you to know that I understand when things come up and stop you from doing something that you'd planned on doing, be that drama, art block, or real-life issues. Release them whenever you have time to do so.

Artists who have already released their Voxxies - Please PM me if you either decided to not award your Voxxie out to anyone or if your Voxxie didn't get any forms. I am compiling a list of which CNY Voxxies are still available and which ones have been adopted out so that I can figure out what to do next to get said un-adopted/un-awarded Voxxies adopted out quickly and effectively.

Also, please remember what I stated earlier, as it's very important that you each remember this.

Also, should you choose to not award the Voxxie to anyone, you may decide at that point in time to make it your custom or not. You do not HAVE to make it your custom - you simply have the option to do so, should you choose to not award it out to anyone (for instance, you had too few people enter or the people who entered didn't create satisfactory forms - though there are many reasons for not awarding Voxxies out, and these reasons are left up to each individual creator to decide upon).

Since I was recently contacted about items, I have decided to instill a new rule.

Can Voxxies have items?
Voxxies may have items, but all items must have a purpose. The most common items for Voxxies to have are scarves and blankets - the reason for this being that they keep them warm and are soft to the touch. Some Voxxies will have jewelry which they may wear as a symbol for various things, the most common being intuitiveness ("I'm so smart that I can find these things and wear them, too!"). Voxxies may also keep items that hold special places in their lives - perhaps they keep stuffed animals that their parents found and gave to them as children, or perhaps they keep items that were given to them by their friends. Or, perhaps on their first day out hunting, they found an item, and kept it to remember that awesome day. Items generally do serve a functional purpose. When they don't, they have memories attached to them. Voxxies won't just get items randomly - immense thought goes in to every item that each Voxxie owns.
This rule was put into effect on 3/12/2015. Any Voxxie created before this point may not have items that correspond to all of these rules. Any Voxxie created after this point must have items that correspond to this rule.
NOTE: This applies to normal Voxxies, event Voxxies, custom Voxxies, and bred Voxxies.
