Hazelfur quietly placed Whitekit down outside the nursery, glancing around to see if anyone wanted to help with her burial or ceremony. Everyone seemed to busy with their own problems, however. The medicine cat felt his fur bristle. MoonClan was practically falling apart. The thought angered him. Every cat seemed to just wallow in their own self-pity now..... Pushing the thought away, he began to bury Whitekit as gently as possible. He wondered what Whiteleaf would say in a situation like this. He knew cats hated him, but he really had tried his best to keep the kit alive. He hadn't wanted Foxcloud to leave, either. Sometimes he really missed his mentor.

Stormkit's mews settled down to to a whimper every few moments. Even though he was young, he could tell he was away from home and didn't like it. He wanted to go back! The gray kit hung limply from his mother's grip as she walked on. He then began to struggle as he fought to open his eyes like his sister. After a few moments, they opened to a dark green eyes. His vision was blurry as he took in his surroundings with a startled squeak.

Softfeather laid her tail comfortingly across Tallstep's shoulder and waited for him to explain.

"I wish to withdraw from MoonClan." He mewed, thankful for SoftFeathers comforting touch. He looked at StormStar, hoping this wouldn't be as difficult as predicted.

"They're opening their eyes," Foxcloud said, heart cracking. "It's time to get moving again. I don't want them to remember this place." She picked up Rustkit this time, and Moonglow took Stormkit. They stopped at the border. "I'll take it from here," Foxcloud whispered. Moonglow touched his nose to her shoulder. "You don't have too-"
"I do," Foxcloud stopped him. "I do. I'm sorry."
Moonglow licked her ear. "I'll miss you so much." He turned and padded back to camp.
Foxcloud sighed, crossing the border with her two kits.

Maybe the two could meet up with Foxcloud and the kits while they leave?}

"Go ahead leave." Stormstar meowed quickly and rested his head. "You are now exiled from MoonClan, enjoy your stay at SunClan."

Rustkit mewed again and looked around. She saw where her mother went and looked behind her. The scenery behind her mother and what she was leaving. Rustkit mewed knowing that her mother was probably leaving home but the small she-kit wasn't so sure.

TallStep was shocked by his response, "I was going to leave anyway.." He looked at SoftFeather then started to pad off. There was no need to exile me.. He thought as he walked.

Foxcloud stopped, just across the border. She licked Rustkit's head. "Please, little one..."

Rustkit mewed again wanting to make sure that was home before leaving it. She squirmed around and mewed again. She reached her small paw out at it and tried to grab it though impossible but not to her.
