Rustkit mewed in confusion and started to squirmed around in the air.

"Moonglow, we have to stop for a moment." Foxcloud curled on the ground.
"Are you sure about this?" Moonglow murmured. "You love him."
"I do..." Foxcloud murmured, "But I need a fresh start."

Hazelfur soon slipped back into the nursery after talking with Falconbreeze for a bit, who was now staring at the entrance of camp whispering ''I'm sorry" every once in awhile. The medicine cat gently picked up Whitekit and carried her outside, depression weighing heavy in his paws. This was the first cat he had lost, after all. Except for Whiteleaf.... He had felt useless then, and he felt useless now.

Seeing that StormStar was done talking, he followed him to his den. "StormStar, I wish to speak with you but it can wait if you would like." He flicked his tail, speaking as calmly as he can.

Jaywing paced angrily, digging his claws into the ground. Foxcloud was the only one who ever cared, he spat in his mind. Now what in the name of StarClan will I do? Worthless leaders...worthless medicine cat! This I twice he's failed me!

Softfeather stood behind Tallstep quietly. The she-cat had watched Foxcloud leave with her kits and was concerned. What was the she-cat going to do now? Her kits would be raised away from the warrior code unless the went to SunClan.

Stormkit mewed pitifully as he was grasped by his mother. He pawed the air with his tiny paws as he swung from his mother's grip.
