Foxcloud awoke a bit later. Still purring, she groomed her kits

Rustkit mewed and she pawed at her mother as she was licking her clean. The she-kit was purring happily at the time. Stormstar walked back to Foxcloud and laid beside her.

Foxcloud smiled happily at him. "I'm the luckiest she-cat in the world."

"And I'm the luckiest tom in the world to have some beautiful kits to call his own and a pretty she-cat as a mate." Stormstar purred.

Foxcloud licked his cheek. "Our kits will grow up so loved."

[canadianhowl]

"And strong." He added on with a chuckle before he licked her forehead.

[C a s]

"And brave," Foxcloud agreed, leaning against him.

[canadianhowl]

"Indeed. I better expect good coming out of these guys when they get older." He joked and then nuzzled his mate again.

Rustkit mewed at the two voices and tried to squirm around.

[C a s]

Foxcloud laughed. "Little leaders, that's what they are. One day, I'm sure there will be Ruststar...or Whitestar...or another Stormstar."
