Maplepelt saw Firestorm and his patrol pad through the entrance and she jumped up, running to her mate and kit. "Amberkit my baby! Amb- Oh.. oh no.. No, Not-no-not my kit!!" She wailed as she saw the blood.

Amber kit mewed in fear as she heard her mother's wail it must of been worse than she thought she swirmed in fear makeing her wound bleed more

"They better be quick. I can't stand to see Cheetahheart like this." Eaglestripe whispered to himself as he rested his head on her shoulder.

((BTW Amberkit is almost a moon old. Her eyes are open and she can speak))

Icepool hurried out of his den with tansy, and went back to Cheetahheart. He was chewing up the leaves to make a poultice when he heard his mother's wail. Now what? he pondered. He quickly pasted the chewed-up leaved onto Cheetahheart's wound. "Press the cobwebs tightly on her wound, so the poultice will stay on and hopefully it will stop the bleeding. i think she'll be okay, but when she wakes up, tell her not to stretch it." He mewed to EagleStripe. He padded over to his mother and gasped. "Amberkit!'

Eaglestripe nodded towards Icepool's orders and started to press the cobwebs onto the females wounds. "It will be alright and she will live." He mumbled to himself as he continued on with the task.

Icepool took in the severity of Amberkit's wound. He turned to his father. "Firestorm, I need to to stay calm. Can you go to my den and fetch burdock root, and cobwebs. Lots of them." He looked at Firestorm with pleading eyes.

Firestorm nodded. "Wait, burdock is the plant with the pink-ish petals, right?" He asked, just to be sure.

"Yes, it is, OUR KIT IS DYING, HURRY!" Maplepelt snapped, and buried her nose in Amberkit's fur.

Maplepelt whispered soothingly, trying to steady her voice. "It's okay, little one." She mewed, licking her wound.

Amber kit calmed slightly and dug her face into her mother's fur

Firestorm dashed to the medicine den and grabbed a mouthful or burdock. He gagged at the taste. He pawed into Robinfoot's stack of cobwebs and got a pawful. He staggered out, awkward with the paw of cobwebs, and made his way to Icepool. "Here."

Icepool blinked his appreciation and chewed up the root, he pressed it onto her wound. "Burdock is good for rat, badger, and fox bites." He explained.

Maplepelt stiffened as Amberkit flinched from the sting of the poultice.
