Padding through the forest, Falconbreeze remained silent. He soon caught the scent of prey nearby, and caught sight of a white rabbit, his eyes narrowing. He attempted to sneak up on it, but he accidentally stepped on a leaf. He then quickly ran after it as it began to bolt away, crossing right over the border- though he didn't even notice.

Badger mewed again still cold and hungry. She just wished someone would come to rescue her soon from this misery.

Softfeather ducked her head even farther, but there was no mistaking the shaking of her shoulders. The she/cat was laughing right along with him. Softfeather finally looked up at him and slowly tapered of the laughing. "Your turn," she said.

He slowly quieted the laughter, sighing. "Okay.. Hmm..." He tilted his head up to remember, "Ah, I practically avoided everyone today so I could think about you. Now we're even." TallStep quickly added the last sentence, a bit embarrassed. He lowered his head as well but it didn't accomplish anything, so he flattened his ears.

Softfeather purred in amusement. "It seems we both entertained the same day. I wonder if it means anything?" She said half to herself. The she-cat flicked her tail across her back before letting it relax. It flicked back and forth slightly, but is was one of her many habits. "So are we going to just talk the whole time?" She questioned.

Falconbreeze paused as the sound of mewling hit his ears; he frowned as the rabbit quickly hopped away. He followed the sound, and his amber eyes widened slightly when he noticed two kits laying in the dirt. Here, of all places...? Why would someone just abandon them? Blinking, he bent down, gently touching his nose to the one who was meowing. It seemed it's sibling was dead... At least, from what he could tell. Sadness shimmered in his eyes for a brief moment. Poor things....
Sighing softly, the tom picked up the black and white kit gently by it's scruff. If it's parents abandoned them, then it would probably have a better life with the clan. He took a few moments to properly bury the other kit, since he didn't want any predator to get a hold of it's body. Then, finally, he began to head back to camp silently.
