Finally, the apprentice stopped giving the poor kit herbs and decided to give her some food now. She got up and picked a small squirrel from the pile of prey and came back with the body in her jaws. She set it down, "I'm RainPaw, and you are?" The she gave a small smile before chewing the squirrel in bites for the kit to eat easier. RainPaw put a small chewed pile of meat in front of the kits muzzle.
