Raven began to walk around and slipped into an open space covered by brambles. The young kit didn't know what it was, but it smelt as if only one cat stayed here.(leaders den?) Raven was currently looking for a place to stay and curled up in the nest with a satisfied sigh.

Blossom backed farther into the ferns at the new cat. She wasn't one for meeting new cats alone and now she didn't have anything to really fight for. The kit finally just laid down in front of the older she-cat with a heavy sigh, her blue eyes pleading with the other she-cat.

Graywhisker hesitated for a moment in a small bit of nervousness, but then bent down, taking a few bites from the rabbit. His tail twitched behind him as he ate with a small purr. He paused briefly to look at Aspen. "You're right, still fresh~" He chuckled softly.

"I dunno. It's something I've never smelled before...." Bramblepaw murmured, continuing to walk, his ears flattening slightly.

Owlstar watched Ivyfern with an even gaze. "The Clan seems fine, you only fail if you don't try. Obviously, you are trying. You're still here to help any cat that needs it, aren't you?"

Aspen ripped into the rabbit after placing it between them. She ate silently, glancing over at Graywhisker every now and then.

Hesitantly,I shake my head. "No one comes up to me because, well, when was the last time I took care of patrols?" The young leader's word is law, and the code still amazes me at so many things. But, I just can't believe at how I take my rank as deputy. Honestly, a lot of cats would do better then me.

SweetBerry awoke and went over to eat some prey. Her belly nearly touching the ground. I hope to get an actually useless kit this time. she picked a large blue bird that must of been captured by a senior warrior.

Aspen nodded. "Yes," she replied. She was still quiet otherwise. Sometimes Aspen can be awkward in conversations, but she was the silent type anyways.

In return, I give her a small smile. Jokingly, I tell her, "By the time that happens I'll be as old as an elder." The word elder sends a chill through my body. I'm not accustomed to Thornwhisker's death yet, and any mention of elders reminds me of him.
