Caerlins are a light draft breed built for carrying ammo during wars, through the mud and rough terrain. They were also built for pulling wagons and trucks wherever needed. This lovely breed is a combination of the Friesian, Gypsy Cob, Vladimir Heavy Draft, and Noriker. They were specifically bred for the cresty neck, heavy set body, and thick toning. The special thing about the CWCs though, are the fact that they only come in two patterns: Appaloosa and Paint. Stock horses are generally seen with a lack of either of these patterns, but do indeed carry the gene for one of the two.┌─────────────────┐

Unfortunately, a rare disease called Lethal Ocian Syndrome keeps the horses of different spotting patterns from breeding. Lethal Ocian Syndrome is similar to Lethal White Syndrome and occurs when a Paint horse is breed to an Appaloosa. The resulting foals are born without a colon, seem normal for a few weeks, and pass within just a few hours.
As their name suggest, the CWC was bred for war, but also provides an amazing riding horse. These guys are also found usually dancing with their partner in dressage or sweating from the last match of pulling and even coming back from a simple session of driving. Caeralins are generally good tempered horses with little attitude. They tend to interact fairly well and often don't have issues with each other. Foals are just about always very playful and have high energy, so watch out! People often crop or roach the stallions' manes and keep the tails short, but refuse to dock them.
Foals grow quickly and usually reach their full size at about a year and a half. Full grown Caeralins range from anywhere between 15.3 hh to 18.2 hh, the biggest ever recorded standing at 19.2 hh. Studs tend to be fairly bigger and heavier set than the mares, with mares being shorter and more sleek.
Even though the Crested War Caeralin breed is very few in numbers, the horses are only bred 6 times throughout their life, and may only be bred once a month. Breeders always try to keep the health of the Caeralins their top priority.
Caeralins also have a few mutations of which will not be seen very often, but do tend show up rarely:
-Brindling, "tiger" brindling, or zebra patterning
-Fire markings, a special type of sabino
-Chimera
-Beards
-No mane or tail
-Underbelly hair
This list will be added onto as more mutations are discovered.
