Softfeather looked around the camp again and her blue gaze landed on Eaglestripe. She pushed herself to her paws and began to walk over to the tom. In a soft, lilting voice, she said, "I don't think we have properly met. I think we know each owner but we don't know..." She trailed off as she realized she was rambling and had the grace to look embarassed.

Arthur then padded away fast, anything to do with grieve made his really upset.

Eaglestripe faced Softfeather and meowed, "uh what are you saying?" He flicked his ear slightly and tilted his head.

In my grief, I don't realize that Owlstar and I barely socialized. Now was obviously not the time, but I used to guide her when many rejected her as leader. When Thornwhisker advised me, I passed his knowledge down to Owlstar. The pain makes my heart ache, the pain of loss. Loss of Thornwhisker, and loss of being respected as deputy. Now I'm just a cat who is in pain and not of use to my clanmates. I'm almost perfectly healthy, I just need a day or two. And by healing, I don't mean being cooped up in a den.

Smalltail padded to her brother and curled up near him as he sat at the nursery's entrance. The four kits were whimpering when they were told the news. They didn't really understood what death was till now.

Arthur padded into the warriors den and rested in an empty nest. Resting his head he tried not to cry and tried not to remember his past in seeing many fall in front of his eyes. Mostly when seeing his closest friend fall in front of him by a train.

Dirtkit assured dawnkit everything was okay while maplekit and darkkit rolled their eyes.
" You're all weak." Maplekit hissed, as Darkkit mewed his agreement.

"Honestly? I'm just trying to talk. I'm bored and need something to do." Softfeather replied. The lithe she-cat sat back on her haunches and watched him silently. Her tail flicked back and forth as she awaited his reply to her statement.

"I'm also bored as well. There is actually noting to do anymore...." Eaglestripe sighed.
