Softfeather lay stretched out on the soft, springy ground beneath her. The she-cat flicked her tail casually back and forth while she looked about the camp before heaving a sigh. She got up and padded lightly to the camp entrance before slipping out and into the forest beyond. The warrior immediately picked up the scent of a squirrel and took off to track it. It wasn't long before she found and killed the small critter. The she-cat padded back to camp and set it on the fresh-kill pile before grabbing a small mouse and laying down to eat a small meal.

Raven mewed a protest and began to struggle, but this cat was stronger than he. The young kit batted his paws wildly at the air, but it did no good. With a struggled sigh, he finally just went limp in the she-cat's grip. He blind gaze focused on the ground below though all the kit could really see was a black screen.

I narrow my eyes and go back to Ivyfern. She is healing, which is great progress. The deputy lifted her head towards me. "When in Starclan can I go back to my duties?" Ivyfern is impatient, a flaw that will progress to cease as she ages. Before replying, I dip my head. Might as well show some respect. "I don't know, it all depends." Ivyfern sighs and mumbles something I can't hear. I see chamonile, the small white flower that looks almost like a daisy. Gently, I plop off one off the stem and give it to Ivyfern. "Here, this will strengthen your heart and soothe your mind." Obeying, the she-cat plops it into her mouth. I can already see change in her eyes as she calms down.
