The mating thread/official mates thing doesn't really matter now. So it is in your own hands now to pick your mate and change it if you want with out any permission or official documentation needed. nvn

Breeding has been put on hold, it will be started again eventually when pandora. has the time to get everythig ready. Artists will most likely take a mixture of paid and free breedings depending on their time and mood or possible guidelines that might be put in place. It's basically in a WIP state and things still need to get sorted out before it is opened again!

Apple told me that people with breed items will get to use them for free.

I'd be absolutely furious if all my hard work was thrown out the window just because I wasn't able to catch a breeding slot on CS in time, especially after being personally told that that wouldn't happen.
