Bramblepaw huffed quietly, his ears flattening a bit. "Yeah yeah. Thank you Aspen...."

When he turns away, I fill with dread. I don't know why, but it's the way he's flattening his ears a bit. Quietly, I sigh. Now I've done it. I've given up being a medicine cat for Bramblepaw. What else is love going to make me do? Right now I should focus on healing cats, but return to my goal once the medicine cats are found. I don't think that Bramblepaw knows this, but his long tail does three flicks when he's nervous or impatient. Or both. I'm weird like that, noticing things like the ones mentioned.

Bramblepaw turned back to Honeypaw and smiled once more gently, feeling a little shy. "I know I didn't really say it straight out, but the thing is, I'm really nervous, so I'm not really sure how to put it...." He mumbled with a small sigh. "I'm sure Aspen's made it obvious enough, though....."

I give him a small nod. "You don't have to say it, but for now we have to focus on helping our clan." Before I leave to check on Ivyfern, I turn around and give him a small and gentle lick on the cheek. Then I pad out and see Ivyfern dragging herself. I sigh. It must be hard on her, but Ivyfern needs to recover. I walk to Ivyfern. While I'm at it, I try to make a stern face, even though I'm light with happiness. Slowly, I poke Ivyfern. She turns around and sighs. "Don't tell me that I have to go back." I nod, and she narrows her uniquely green colored eyes. "I'll go back if you catch me up on what's been happening." I turn my head as if to say; Are you kidding? Why didn't you ask me first? When we return to Ivyfern's nest, the deputy promptly goes to her nest and lays down. She looks up at me as a reminder. I give my chest an embarrassed lick. "Oh, of course! Well, there was a badger, Bramblepaw found a kittypet who's name is Sky, we started to show Sky our territory, and that's about it." Then I remember Sky's ceremony. "Wait, I forgot something! Sky got his warrior name. He's Skyheart now." Ivyfern seems to know his name, maybe she sneaked out and watched his ceremony. I curl my tail around my paws and smile.

The dark apprentice nodded. "Of course," He gave a small smile, his tail twitching as he watched Honeypaw leave. He then slowly got to his paws, padding outside with a sigh of relief. "Okay Aspen. You can go back inside if you want." He mewed to the she-cat. He seemed much calmer now, if not a little bit more cheery.

I can tell that Honeypaw is trying to be stern, but she's glowing with a strong feeling. A feeling that I tend to back up from. Honeypaw is in love, even though she's too young. Hopefully it's just a little harmless crush. When she mentions Skyheart, my eyes light up a bit. So that's who that warrior was! I want to go outside, but I made a promise. Plus, I did get a little caught up on what has been happening here. I groom my fur with my tough tongue, licking each piece of fur down. Suddenly, I wonder where Mintpaw is. Even in my condition, I still want to train her. The little rascal is more interested in history, but I could perfectly talk about clan history here.
