My gold eyes widen as Ivyfern stands. I pad to her and whisper, "You need to rest to bring up your strength." Ivyfern rolls her eyes, but lays down in her nest. For a stubborn she-cat like the deputy, that's an accomplishment.

Sky looked at the cats who headed towards the Sunrock. A flood of courage and pride washed over him as he thought of what his new name would be. Warmth soared over his body to see Bramblepaw and Honeypaw. Sky was glad to see they were okay from the badger attack. His face grew hot, but his paws were cold. They started to wobble, but Sky urged them to stay still. Bramblepaw had been wounded. Coldness rushed through his veins, but the warmth returned. Sky blamed it on himself, for not having the courage to stand up for Bramblepaw and wounding himself for a good friend. He sought Honeypaw, scanning her for any sight of wounds. There were none, but Sky still felt guilty. For a reason. For a reason he didn't know of.

After her call, Owlstar leaped off the Sunrock once more cats were in the clearing. She landed in front of the boulder. "Sky, please come forward."

Sky came forward, confused. Wasn't he already there?

She smiled, before whispering barely audibly, "Are you ready for this?" Then she continued in a loud voice, "I, Owlstar, leader of SunClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this former kittypet. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Sky, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
