So, What Are The Rules?-
You must be a member to participate in the adopt. Non-members may join by filling out and messaging me the forum above. You must be accepted before trying out for a dog.
-
You must be active. If you are inactive from CS for more than six months without informed reason your dogs will 'run away' and be re-homed.
- While it is not necessarily a rule that
you must enter the races, it is definitely encouraged.
- Please
use common sense,
be kind to everyone and
refrain from complaining or whining. If you have a problem, do not post it on the forums, message me and I promise I will solve any and all issues.
How Do I Adopt A Dog?- Find a dogs page that still says 'Adopt?' on it. These are the dogs still available for adoption.
-
Fill out the appropriate forum. In most cases, extras will not be allowed, but prettying up is always encouraged.
- Wait until the adopt is judged. I will always have end dates set so you know when to check back. End dates will not be changed unless no one has tried out for that adopt yet.
- If you win the adopt, the dog is all yours. You may add them to your kennel page and begin training, racing, and breeding right away.
- If you notice there are no dogs available for adoption, feel free to post and let me know. Its my goal to make sure everyone has a chance at adopting, especially considering you will need a large pack if you wish to compete in traditional races.

You may adopt as many as 24 dogs, creating three teams, but you may breed and keep as many puppies as you would like.
What Are Levels And Stats? In short, each level pertains to what placement your dog will have in the sled team. Here is a quick overview:
Level 1- Lead dog. Your lead dogs are the most important part of your team. They not only lead the team by following commands, but also set the pace and create the main trail for the rest of the team to follow. These dogs are generally very rounded in their abilities. You may only have two of these dogs per team.
Lead dogs will have all-around high stats, but their intelligence will be their highest.Level 2- Swing dog. Swing dogs are placed directly behind your lead dog(s). They work closely with your lead dogs to help enforce the directions the lead dogs set. These dogs are used to help turn corners and are usually the most agile dogs on your team. You may only have up to four of these dogs per team.
Swing dogs will have high agility, but low endurance. Level 3- Team dogs. These are the most common dogs you will find. They follow behind the swing dogs and provide the main source of power to the team. You may have anywhere from zero to eight of these dogs per team.
Team dogs will have high speed, but low intelligence.
Level 4- Wheel dogs. Wheel dogs are placed directly in front of the sled. They are the strongest on the team and will provide the team with much-needed power to pull the sled. You may have two of these dogs per team.
Wheel dogs will have high endurance, but low intelligence. Level 5- Trainees/Retirees. Trainees are usually puppies being trained for racing. This is the level your pups will be set at until old enough to be trained for a different level. Retirees are your older dogs that are unsuitable for racing. Any dog that is listed as level five is currently unable to race. You may have an unlimited number of these dogs.
Trainees/Retirees will have all-around low stats.
