Thorntalon whipped into the shadows of a fern and watched the she-cat. :Spottedtail... he muttered to himself, as for he knew this cat.

Spottedtail was unaware that Thorntalon was around; she was too focused on finding Aspen, and there were a lot of unfamiliar scents around her, anyway. She didn't label any one as 'suspicious'. As she approached the tree, she ducked her head slightly. She felt even smaller underneath a tree like this....
"Um, Aspen...? Are you here? I'm Soottedtail, of SunClan. Owlstar calls for your help, so she sent me to come and talk to you." She called gently.

There was a scuffling sound in the tree hollow. Then a light gray she-cat poked her head out. "Owlstar?" She hauled herself out of the burrow, making Spottedtail back away. Aspen had a strong scent of herbs on her. "What's the problem... Spottedtail?" she asked.

Thorntalon watched farther away from the two cats. The tom watched as the grey cat came out of the hollow, and snarled under his breath.

Thorntalon bolted towards the Sunclan hunting grounds and made his sent on many trees and rocks so that any cat could realize it was him. The tom bounded away and back into the ferns near the camp to hide.

Spottedtail sighed in relief, flicking her tail to the side. "Our deputy is hurt badly, and neither of our medicine cats are around. They aren't even in camp..." She muttered.

Seeing a flash of fur Arthur followed Thorntalon. He did not want to be seen, only wanted to know what the tom was looking at.

Thorntalon sniffed the air, and swiftly slipped into more ferns around Arthur. The tom kicked the cat lightly off his feet, and turned back to the ferns.

The Brit kept following Thorntalon still eager of what is even happening.
