The apprentice followed his mentor through the forest, thinking. Some about StarClan and some about the clan. As DappleBriar checked on him, he lifted his gaze from the ground to her, displaying a small smile across his lips as well. This must be the new area they were hunting so he gave a little sniff.

The two leg kit shook out her pelt as she got warm by the stove. Misty gave a small mew before getting to her paws and climbing up her carpeted kitty tower and slumping down to take a nap after sharpening her claws in the soft material.

"Back there!" he meowed as he bounded towards Ivyfern's body.

Shadowpaw dragged Ivyfern's body o the medicine cat den. "I can't find him!" he yowled when he dropped the she-cat.

Bramblepaw growled, hissing at Shadowpaw, though somewhat gently. "Be careful, you big furball!" It was obvious he was stressed since he was beginning to lose his calm demeanor.

Spottedtail sighed softly as she let Shadowpaw take Ivyfern from Her and the two apprentices. "I'll go find the medicine cat, Shadowpaw. Wait here with Bramblepaw and Honeypaw. I'll be right back," She mewed before hurrying away.

Pebblecloud calmly padded around the camp, sniffing the scent. She heard a commotion and went to it by ear. Pebblecloud saw Bramblepaw hissing at Shadopaw. ''What's going on?'' said Pebblecloud in a worried tone.

Owlstar had a grave look on her face. "Ivyfern's hurt - badly, and the medicine cats are nowhere to be found."

"Silvertail! Mousestep!" Spottedtail called desperately, looking high and low for the medicine cats.

Bramblepaw's fur bristled, his muzzle still matted with blood. His claws were unsheathed and he was shaking. "And this mousebrain was just dragging her around through the dirt... Those wounds could get infected." He muttered lowly.

Graywhisker appeared from the warrior's den, his eyes wide with shock as he ran over. "Great StarClan!" He whispered as he overheard Owlstar. "Does anyone know what to do...?"

"Cobweb stops bleeding, right?" Bramblepaw murmured. The dark apprentice began to look around, seeming to find a little calmness in focusing on a task. "It's stringy stuff, I think..."

I remember watching Silvertail in hope of being like her. Then I realized that if I choose that path, I'll never be a queen. Though I heard stories of medicine cats falling in love, I didn't want to become one of those stories. I always thought that me watching the medicine cat healing cats was useless, until today. Ivyfern needs help, and from the information I gathered I can help her. I go to the medicine cat den to get cobweb, comfrey root, and dock. My mouth is now full of the herbs. I want to spit them out, but I know that it would be stupid to do so. As I pad to Ivyfern, I put the herbs down. I'm shaking, scared that this might not work. I chew up the root into poultice and put it on her scratches. This will soothe her wounds. I'm sure that a medicine cat would've told Ivyfern to clean herself in the stream, but she's unconscious. Next I chew up the dock and apply it on top of the poultice. Finally, I cover her in cobwebs to soak up and stop the bleeding. She looks better, but I'm getting unsure. What if I applied something incorrectly? What if I accidentally kill her?
