He suddenly stiffened as the stench of blood reached his nose. His instincts were screaming at him to run, and so of course he did- following the trail intently. He didn't even think to tell Honepaw or Sky anything, and just kept running as fast as he could. It was then that he noticed Ivyfern. His fur bristled in terror. "Ivyfern!" He hissed, fear-scent now coming off of him in waves. He was at her side in an instant, gently nudging the older she-cat with his muzzle.

"Eh, I'm waiting for them to mature a bit before considering a relationship. As it stands, most of them have certain problems that make them hard to deal with." Larkpaw answered. She supposed she could be a bit insufferable and bossy, but she was mostly trying to prevent cats from making stupid mistakes. "Oh, right, eating." Larkpaw reminded herself and took a bite of Clouddapple's rabbit.

He gently set the rabbit down, and tried to make it look as if it were just sleeping. The pained look in her eyes made the tom frown. His gaze flickered between the rabbit and her, and soon was standing next to the she-cat with their pelts brushing. He took a breath before whispering into her ear. "I love you Spottedtail.. I understand if you don't and you don't have to. I just can't keep it hidden any longer. Sparrowpatch pulled away, already missing the warmth from her pelt. The male expected her to be stunned, even shocked, but didn't know what else to do. He picked up the prey and dragged it to where the others were.
What does she think? What will she say? Is the feeling mutual? Oh Starclan, help me!

I follow Bramblepaw as fast as I could. He must have sensed what I heard. When I stop, I gasp and go to Ivyfern's aid. Where has she been? For now, it doesn't matter. What does is that Sunclan's deputy is hurt! Ivyfern is bleeding all over and has more scratches then ever before. She is also stick thin, so she must be light. I try to lick her clean, the taste of blood entering my tongue. But there's too much. But not so much that she can't live.

Shadowpaw finished his mouse, got up, and padded out of camp to go hunting. The tom leaped over the exit, and slid into larges ferns and begin slowly crawling towards a rabbit's sent. His blood stopped cold as he realized there was another sent, thicker and stronger then the rabbit's; Blood. Shadowpaw leaped to his paws, and raced after the smell.
