Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.
Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

- Your a simple fox. Something that's common on this planet.. maybe your in a clan, maybe your not. It wasn't your fault that this happened. It wasn't your fault everyone around you was coughing and well-underweight. Nothing was your fault.. Everyone blamed the loners. They were increasing and due to someone in the clan, they caught what the outsiders had. A strong famine that was bringing even the strongest warriors down to their knee's. It was something that even the most talented couldn't heal. Something that could destroy everything.. something nobody ever found a cure to.
- This disease is a new and unknown one, as nobody of the clans have heard of it.. and to be honest, most say its one that has just become know to the planet. The disease is not strong enough to kill, as its hardest hit is to cause great deals of pain to said-fox yet there are more symptoms, the most common are: great pain to a certain part of the body (i.e, neck, shoulders, legs, etc ), the pain amount varies. Dry throats, need for more sleep, a more aggressive attitude, high fevers, short bouts of memory loss ( the fox will remember everything after around five to ten minutes ), coughing, and it tends to weaker its victims.
Nobody knows the exact way it became one on the planet but most are saying that the increase of loners around the clan territories have interacted/gotten too close to the clans and one loner had it and passed it to a clan fox of which infected the whole clan. The virus is very contagious and it is advised that you stay away from any fox who may have the disease.. yet nobody would listen, instead they would try to find a cure.. which caused the disease to soon have each clan under its claws.
Nobody is fit to go hunting as of now so almost everyone is under-weight and starving, yet they are seeking to plants and bugs for food.. though nobody will die, everyone is set to struggle until a cure is found.. yet the question is: will the cure be found ever ?

- Welcome to the DVF roleplay ! We really hope you'll join the roleplay and have a nice adventure- and hey, who knows ? You could learn more about your fox then you would've ever thought. There are honestly no limits as to what could happen yet there are requirements for what do happen: please do not make this un-realistic or something that an average fox/animal wouldn't do, as such this roleplay is in feral form. As being said a normal Delta Velorum fox could not take down a large thornbuck or anything as such. A group of two or three would sound much better. Anyone who owns a fox is welcome to join.

There are some simple rules, one of which we have gone over already but.. first, keep it realistic.
Checked up on already. Second, All CS and DVF rules apply ! SnowStar will be modding and if you break any then expect her to say something if anything. So.. please just follow the rules, the roleplay will run much smoother and easier if you do.
Third, drama is welcomed but do not overdo it ! Such as your fox's crush might get taken by another fox, if such your fox could pout and maybe argue with other said-foxes but do not cause one huge mess of a war over it.
Fourth, we all hate mary/gary-sues don't we ? Well I do... so please don't create one out of your fox. If your fox gets into a fight with another your fox has a chance of getting harmed, even if its just some cuts. Its a very slim chance a fox will walk away from a fight with a simple bruise.. also saying, your fox can't really avoid getting sick.
Fifth. Thats pretty much it except do note, their are no humans on this planet nor are there any evidence that they live there so its not possible that you find a house, car, road or anything. Just keep that in mind. Now if you want to join simply fill this form out:

This roleplay will go slow and steady, the disease isn't heard of until everyone is settled in the clans and roleplay. Once it is though, I will hold a poll saying whoever wants to be the first to get the disease PM me, the way it works out will follow: the infected fox will head back to their clan, unaware that they have the virus. They will generally start to have symptoms and spread it around. I will also officially announce when the poll is released.
