Announcements

The Nursery and Growth threads have been revised slightly!
They are still closed at the moment as we continue to work out the kinks but I wanted to let you all know.
If you hadn't read the prior changes please read over This post as it encompasses an overview on the changes and reasoning behind them.

The Makoatl Store has gone under construction once again
Here is Version 3
We've taken out some items that have caused issues/conflict as well as items people never use.
If you have item suggestions to be added feel free to PM me here or note me on DA.
There's uncertainty for when it'll open up but my ideal goal is the first of March if not sooner.

The DA group is undergoing renovation
We are rearranging all the groups and art. The front page is getting a makeover as well.
The rules will be simplified from the prior journal rules [of course still implementing the CS rules for Makos]
I intend to have a competition on DA as well as soon as the group is running again to help get some enthusiasm back into the group!
There will be future announcements on that as they come.

Important Reminder

Due to several questions and occurrences of this happening I would like to remind you
Makoatls Can NOT be traded for other characters, any sort of site currency or SOLD for USD/DA Points, etc
If we see this happening, we may give you a warning. If it happens again your makoatls will be revoked and put back up and you will be banned.

I don't want to sound mean about it, it's in the rules both on the CS thread as well as on the DA page but several people have attempted to trade and sell their makoatls. Even if you have bought your makoatl you still cannot resell or trade. You may gift or return the mako if you no longer have a connection.

Would you have time to dedicate to Makos if you became an Official Artist? Yes. I'm not finding much to do around CS these days and need a new activity. Becoming a guest/official artist would be the perfect activity for me. My sport is ending within this month (only do it 3 days a week anyways) so my free time will drastically increase. I already spend 5+ hours browsing forums and threads daily.
Extra I'm an aspiring designer meaning I'm not top-notch. Picking me to be a guest/official artist for Makoatls would be starting my "career" in adopt designing. Thank you for this opportunity.
