I understand that their money has to come from somewhere, it's just annoying when you want to collect all the available pets and they make it impossible. And believe me, I've tried to find hoarders but it's just not happening.
I've tried for giveaways in the past and I never have any luck. There's always that one person who spends ages making an exceptional application form and mine just doesn't compare. I guess I could keep trying but eventually you just tend to give up if you aren't having any luck.

Most giveaways on eld are randomized though? I've never seen a form giveaway on eld yet. That probably doesn't help, exactly, but at least you don't have to pour a lot of effort into a form and feel like you'd not have the chance to win anyway.

There are other hoarders out here but he's the first one I can think of, particularly for this month xD

I didn't know most raffles were randomised, the few ones I looked at all required forms so I was a bit disheartened. I'll see if I can find some randomised raffles to enter though :3

You also mentioned that there is a bazaar release every month, not two months. CS releases every month, not eld. A bazaar pet for valentines day is the same as it was last year and the price is the same too.

CS doesn't release a store pet pack each month.... I checked in the archives and they're released every 2 months. It's Eldemore that releases bazaar pets each month.

I'm not a fan of so many Bazaar pets either.

But I think the community does a good job of making Baubles easy enough to trade for. It's smaller, of course, but also seems generally nicer and easier to do fair trades with.

And the art/event quality is so much better, so I can understand it.

Yeah, I definitely prefer the events on Eldemore to CS events and when you can find people to trade with, they're always fair (: I've noticed that greed isn't such a big factor over there either and the art is definitely a big bonus for the site c:

Plus Eld is still a small site guys, they probably need all the money they can get. I remember an admin saying that after the stone of random thing they finally got enough money to get a new server that they needed. I understand not everyone can obtain baubles easily, either through paying or trading, but it is still possible. You just need to hunt a little harder or start sooner. I knew they did a Valentine's bazaar pet last year so that's what I was expecting this year.

Besides there doesn't even have to be free pets. They could have one free monthly litter and then everything else in the bazaar. I'd rather have Eld be able to support itself than have a 100% complete collection. What use is all the pets if Eld has to shut down? Just aim for a complete non-bazaar collection or once you gather up enough fodder or baubles, try trading for the bazaar pets you've missed. You don't have to get them right when they're released. Heck I didn't get some store pets here on CS until half a year after they came out!

Thank you! That's true. And wasn't there just a rare release of the Black Swan Phoenix? There are always way more free pets than the Bazaar pets, which keep the site running. If you go actually look there are way less Bazaar pets than free pets. There are free releases for events, there are free birthday pets, there are randomly free releases when the admins feel that everyone deserves a treat.

I'd say that was a fair amount of free being done with a small portion being paid for.

Normal bazaar pets are released every two months. We have special pets that are released sometimes like the Christmas mega pack that was only released for a month but the individual pets of the pack (excluding the glasswork and pygmy prong fox) were released for the two full months. The sleipners will be in the bazaar for two months. The valentines pet is considered a special release so it is only in there for a set amount of time. Does that make sense? I'm really bad at explaining things.

TLDR: Normal bazaar releases are two months. Special releases have a set time.

Sorry about the confusion on the CS vs Eld release. I'm not active on CS so what is two months here feels like a week lol, so I thought CS switched to monthly store releases.

Here's a quick bazaar breakdown:
- Eldemore's regular bazaar releases are every two months, and the pets of that release remain for two months.
- Prong foxes are changed out, I believe, every three months, and cost less than any other bazaar pet.
- Outside of that, there are sometimes special bazaar releases for certain dates, like Christmas and Valentine's. (Looking through 2014's Glassworks should give you a reasonable idea of special bazaar release dates)

All of these releases are meant to support the site and allow it to keep running. If the admins could release everything for free without worry about having to shut the site down because of money, then I'm sure they would be more than happy to. Unfortunately, though, money will always be a concern. If having no obnoxious ads on the site means that there are a few more bazaar pets, then that's fine by me. ^^'

I can't afford any of the existing bazaar pets, let alone a new one.
I think the one thing I really don't like about Eldemore is how everything revolves around the bazaar. Nobody is willing to trade you baubles and not everyone online actually has a credit card to buy them with. They could have at least released one pet that you didn't have to pay for.
I've been on Eld since about November and so far I've only managed about two trades for baubles and that allowed me to buy only one bazaar pet. I just wish they would give us more time.
I really like the art on eldemore but I definitely prefer CS in that they actually give you time to look for the site currency and acquire it for the store release.
1 store pack every 2 months is manageable. 1 store pack every month, sometimes even more than that, is definitely not manageable.

I believe that the point of special releases is to make them rarer, and well, special. It's always been like this, with the Amore glasswork and Lucky Clover glasswork last year, only available for the rest of the month, and now the Humming Bumble. The admins do a lot to create special lines for the bazaar adopts to make them something that people want to buy, and changing out pets more frequently probably means that more money is flowing toward them. It's skillful marketing.

Yes, it does make baubles a lot harder to trade for, but there are people out there that trade baubles. You have to find people, and work to get them, but that makes it all the more rewarding when they fall into your hands. You can also do a lot of planning ahead of time to get baubles that you need to hold you over for a few months. Events are the perfect time to get baubles with token trades. If you plan and work hard enough, you can get enough baubles to hold you over until the next event or lull in the bazaar.

Eldemore definitely isn't a place you can just sit back and leisurely collect and expect to get every pet. You have to try to get stuff, get involved with the community, and send tons of trades if you have to until you get what you need. That's what makes it fun. ^^

I am always, always, willing to trade baubles for any hoard pets I have on my hoard list. Only exception is usually the Bazaar pets I have on my hoard list, as I usually buy what I want of those myself and leave them on my hoard list so I can always check how many I have of everything. xD As long as I have the baubles or can afford to buy more baubles at the time, I'll more than likely be willing to work out a bauble trade for any of my hoard pets than I will be to not. You'll just have to be just as patient with me as I am with you to work out the trade, and don't make any ridiculous offers with me overpaying, as I tend to overpay already with my offers, from what I've been told.

For this month, for example, I'm hoarding 5 different litters, plus the black swan phoenix. You could afford the Candy Humming Bumble just by trading me a few of the current month litters OR the Black Swan Phoenix. Either option could get you there. But I have plenty of hoards from the past, as well, that could get you there just as fast. If you're saying you can't find hoarders to trade you baubles, then you simply aren't looking. Because I'm always there and I definitely know of quite a few others, as well. :3

Every month, I hold giveaways for each new Bazaar pet/litter released. Usually there's only one for each, but since it's my bday month, I'm being extremely generous and doing two each this month. Now, I do this to give back to the community and help people out. Anyone can enter and, even though you do have to fill out the forms, the winners are chosen using a list randomizer I find online. I even screenshot the randomized list and show it to everyone. The only reason I use forms for it is so everything is organized and, in all honestly, I love reading everyone's answers to my questions! :3 But the answers and the way you do it have nothing to do with the winners, it's just all for fun. Everything on there is completely randomized.

That all said, me being a huge supporter of Eld and, I could be wrong here but who knows, probably one of the larger contributors to the site as far as buying baubles goes, considering I'm practically constantly trading them, always buy extras of Bazaar pets for my giveaways, one of each for myself, plus a ton of extras for my vault for later. I'm honestly insulted by the fact that people are upset with the fact that Eld has more pets up for purchase than CS does. CS and Eld are not the same. CS makes money from advertisements, Eld does not. CS has items that are always up for purchase and do you have any idea how much C$ it takes to get a complete set of items if you wish to? It takes a ton, trust me. We've spent a ton on C$ for store items and we're still not there yet. Eld has absolutely nothing that resides in the Bazaar forever, like CS does. I can't imagine how much money CS makes off of the items. If Eld did have something like that, maybe they wouldn't need so many Bazaar releases. But items aren't top priority for Eld and they may not even be something that Eld does. And pets can't be in the Bazaar forever, or the rarity would soon enough plummet to the point that they are no longer worth purchasing in the Bazaar.

In summary, the sites are completely different in the way they handle a lot of things, store/Bazaar releases especially. Just please, keep that in mind, as well as remember, there will always be hoarders like me willing to trade Baubles for hoards. And I have my Bazaar pet giveaways up for a reason. ;P

You still have a bit of time to do some trading! There are some people *cough ElijahWilkes cough* who will trade baubles for hoard things. So you don't have to have a bunch of rarer pets laying around to get baubles. Just look around on monthly swap threads and see if you can find anyone looking for extra monthlies that will give a few baubles for them.

If you really want it, it may be worth parting with monthly outcomes that you don't have extras of in order to get this. It would be easier to get monthlies at a later time than this bazaar pet. ^^
