The female whipped around, her tail lashing with fury. No one messed with her clan. She balanced on her back paws, lashing out at the great beast. The warrior took a hefty paw to her side, that sent her flying. Shaking away the pain, Clouddapple launched herself onto it's shoulders. Saying she was furious was an understatement. Tufts of fur were torn away from the badger as she was thrown off. Her caterwaul echoed as the creature's teeth met her shoulder, tearing through skin and muscle. Terrible pain engulfed her as the she-cat lay limp on the floor, exhausted.

Blazepaw responded,"Hunting sounds fine by me." He followed his mentor to go hunting, smelling the air for any signs of prey.

"What are you doing!?" Larkpaw screeched in confusion. One of the first things an apprentice learned was that you never, ever messed with a badger, at least, not without a good attack plan and several experienced warriors at your side. Larkpaw wondered why she wasn't the one teaching for a second, but that thought was quickly overtaken by a debate over whether or not she should try to save Clouddapple, or if having one cat in trouble was enough.

The she-cat blinked as she watching him, purring in amusement as she gave a small nod. "Definitely~ I'm loving this warmth." After moving to a spot where the sun shone through the trees, she smiled slightly as she sunned herself for a few moments- before scenting a squirrel. Immediately, she dropped into a crouch; her pale green eyes narrowing in concentration as she tried to pinpoint where the rodent was. She then began to stalk forward, soon able to see the squirrel. She grinned and pricked her ears before dashing forward, startling the squirrel so badly it squeaked and dropped the acorn it had been nibbling on. It then dashed towards the nearest tree, though Spottedtail was right after it. She wasn't going to let it escape her paws again after she was right on top of it.... and luckily, she could climb trees rather nimbly.

B ramblepaw

Bramblepaw was a bit taken aback; though he held his ground, even though it was a bit obvious he was a little nervous. He held his hazel gaze with the stranger firmly, however. A small hiss escaped him. "What are you talking about? This has been, and will be, or territory for thousands and thousands of moons! Our ancestors even lived here. I think your home was just built here on accident...." He muttered.

Luckily for Spottedtail, one of the squirrel's paws didn't quite catch on the bark, and it practically fell into the small she-cat's jaws. She then climbed back down the tree after perching herself on a branch and turning around. Landing softly on the ground, she killed the rodent (which was still squirming in her jaws) with one gentle bite. She then closed her eyes as she lay it down and whispered her thanks to StarClan.

He blinked, seeming to stay alert for a few moments before the fur on his pelt lay flat again. He then sighed softly. "It's.... Okay, I guess..." He replied quietly. He made sure to still be wary of the tom even though he had reassured him as he continued to talk, however.
After a few moments of thinking, Bramblepaw decided that since Sky had told him his name, he may as well give him the answer to his question from before. "Sky....? That's a nice name. I'm Bramblepaw...." He mewed as he took a seat. His tail curled around his paws, and he tilted his head to the side a bit. "Owner...? Are you a Kittypet?"

Owlstar yelped as Clouddapple was thrown across the clearing. She quickly turned to the apprentice. "Larkpaw, run, run to the camp and get help. I'll fend off the badger and help Clouddapple," she hissed in a low voice. Then Owlstar ran to Clouddapple and nudged her.
