"No mate... How can that be?" Owlstar looked down, her eyes shifting, thinking of a logical explanation. "You just crossed the border! You realize there're apprentices that murdered cats before... But your kits are good, no cat would ever guess that they were brought by the Dark Forest if they were. They are part of the Clan."

Pebblecloud moved her tail, ears sagging. ''Yes, they are. But I was told many times not to - I did it anyway.'' Pebblecloud confessed.
''I'm not sure. It's a punishment.'' she muttered.

Owlstar blinked. "Kits are never a punishment... if you raise them right, that is," she spoke firmly, a low growl in her voice. Then she lifted her muzzle up again and cleared her voice. "They're your kits, of course."

He nodded and padded after her. Once hearing those words he froze in place. His heart was beating so fast and loudly he swore someone could hear it. "I uh...." He mumbled slightly. Eaglestripes wanted to say he liked her back which is a true fact but he just couldn't do it. Soon can't taking it he licked her cheeck then ran off back to camp.

Meanwhile Arthur watched the whole thing, jealousy burned up in his heart and he trotted by Fernheart with a jealous look on his face. The Brit didn't even look at her, his heart shattered.

Owlstar stood up. "Then they are a pleasant surprise," she meowed with a proud tone.

Fernheart didn't even gaze at Arthur. She couldn't betray her clan for a cat. And she liked Eaglestripe. So she just ran back to camp. She started to groom her fur.

The warrior shrugged. Hunting did not interest her as much as a good fight.

"Maybe later. I want to check a few things."

The white and black cat slithered through a few bushes and sat on the edge of the territory. She gazed out longingly.
Clouddapple did not know why, but she wanted to run freely across that land.

The tom inwardly sighed at Clouddapple's sharp words.

"Well. She never wants to seem to hunt anyway. Hmm... Where should we hunt?"

Sparrowpatch gaze was warm and soft. He felt himself staring, and looked away quickly. His pelt warmed as he squirmed embarrassedly.

"Why, I am cheery. But I'm flattered you would compare me to one of the best leaders the Clans have ever seen." The current time was generations after her reign, and SunClan was some distance from the Clans at the lake. Some cats knew of them, others didn't. "Why don't you go hunt or walk through the forest for a while to relax? Maybe you'd want to visit the stream. I'll make sure your two kits are looked after." Owlstar smiled that one smile she had, full of confidence and trust.
