I guess, but my teacher has the worst taste when it comes to pieces. I love simple, complex melodies that are kinda dainty, if you get my meaning, but she loves giving me stupid Romantic pieces that resonate with pedalling and over-emotional sentimentality.
On Permanent Hiatus. Or, have quit. Pretty much. Might come back one day.

I like playing some romantic pieces, like Brahms. I actually dislike playing Chopin, but I love listening to a good pianist playing his pieces. Some romantic pieces are over-the-top,though, I'd have to agree. That's why I like impressionistic music.
