Emptyeyes turned his black, cold eyes to his Clanmates. He flicked his tail at Maplefall, Eaglestripe and Dreamrunner, before licking his paw and drawing it over his ear, waiting. He was looking off somewhere unknown.

Zerol halted suddenly as a warning caw as a giant raven flared open it's wings. You've got eggs, eh? Without warning, the tortie tom leaped, grappling with the bird and sailing off the branch. He hooked his hind legs around the tree, using his special hunting method. He dangled up-side-down, fresh-kill hooked in his paws. Not bothering to move, he brought the food up to his mouth and started eating.

"May StarClan go with you, Emptyeyes", said Silvertail, as the tom passed her. "Oh, Mousestep is doing absolutely wonderful. She's practically a fully-fledged medicine cat. She isn't too talkative, but that will come with time. Patience is the key to being a Medicine Cat, you know", replied the she-cat.

Owlstar nodded in approval. "Maybe the apprentices should learn from you too," she chuckled. "The next half-moon is in several days, until the medicine cats meet at the Moonstone (like the one in the books, but a different one). Has StarClan given you a sign? They've been awfully silent lately... much like our own Clan."

DreamRunner noticed EmptyEyes and OwlStsr talking, then he saw EmptyEyess flick his tail in his direction. DreamRunner stood up and started to walk over to his fellow clan mate. EmptyEyes was, well a bit...odd, but he was still a clan mate, DreamRunner had to respect him.


MouseStsp watched Owlstar, EmptyEyes and her mentor, SilverTail chat. She glanced at EmptyEye. He was a weird at, but he wasn't mean or anything. He did his job as a warrior, never talked back or started a fight, which was good. MouseStep sighed and scanned her eyes across the clan, watching and observing silently.

Emptyeyes paused for a second, twitching his muzzle and giving Dreamrunner a quick nod.

Feathers showered down from the branches of the tree as Zerol ate the bird quickly, in shot and neat bites.

Owlstar looked around the camp. Everything seemed calm and in control. "Oh, the Clan seems fine. I'll join you on your patrol. Some hunting would be good for me and the Clan. Of course, you're still leading it."
