The Full Moon is shining high above you, and the trees are swaying back and forth in the slow wind. The moon gilds the trees in odd rectangular, moving patterns. In the distance, you can see the twinkling lights of the village. The festivities going on there are loud, raucous, noisy. You had to get away!

You come to a cliff, and the moon is in full-view now. You gaze up at it was a longing. Out of the corner of your eye, you spot a large object. A Moon Wolf! It comes into view, barely noticing you. It stands at the very edge of the cliff-face, entranced by the beauty of the silver moon. Oh boy, would your friends be jealous when they heard about this!


About the Wolves

There are many different types of Moon Wolves. There's many types of mutations. But the one thing they have in common -- the moon. Moon Wolves sort of worship it, since they are born under it. They are often found (and captured) gazing at the face of the full/new moon. it is said that whoever comes into the presence of a Moon Wolf has good luck and blessings for the rest of his/her life. But that's just a legend. Right?

Height/Size
Moon Wolves are very large creatures, standing at about 5 feet on all fours. The tallest, however, was 6'4!


Diet
It has been said that the moon wolves eat the moon's light, but that's been proven false. Sightings of Moon Wolves with rabbits and deer and even a bear have been recorded.


Breeding Patterns
Moon Wolves only mate every full-moon and every new-moon. Sometimes, breedings aren't successful.


Offspring
Moon Wolves give birth to eggs (as do all mammals, right? xD). The eggs then grow strait into young-adults, where they are fully mature and ready to mate. Some eggs grow faster than others. Moon Wolves can have 2-6 children.


Mutations

1. The common Moon Wolf.
This has no mutations whatsoever. It just looks like a wolf--except with an extra obsession with the Moon.

2. The bob-tailed Moon Wolf.
Nobody know what causes this defect, though they do know Moon Wolves with this mutation are generally females. Males with this mutation don't have as much chance of reproducing as others do.

3. The Winged Moon Wolf.
The Winged. It is said that these are the most majestic of the creatures, their wing-span is about 10 feet across. They rarely take to the skies, unless provoked, because they see the skies as sacred.

4. The devil-tailed Moon Wolf.
The trickster of the group. This guy prefers to play tricks on his own kind. Especially his own kind. devil-tailed Moon Wolves will not mate with Winged Wolves.

5. two-headed Moon Wolves.
These guys don't even really exist. Everybody thought these were a legend too, until someone saw one. We RARELY have these guys. Two-heads are better than one, I guess. This Moon Wolf is smarter than all the rest.

6. Moon Cats.
These aren't so rare. They're just hard to catch. Wily as cats, these guys are. Their only weakness is canned tuna. I'm not lying.

Rules/FAQ

You walk up a pathway, the midnight moon streaming through the trees. Your heart pounds as you reach to knock on the door. This is it! The night you've been waiting for! A Moon Wolf to call your own! The peep-hole cover slides open, and you open your mouth to speak, but get rudely cut off.

"Yeh, read the rules big-guy." the person says before slamming the peephole door. You look around. What rules?

The air shimmers before you, and glowing silver words dance before your eyes. Oh.

1. ABSOLUTELY no swearing. Colorful words like "Horses codswallop" are allowed, and even encouraged.
2. If you're coming here to complain because there are no adoptables, don't post. D: What can you do? I don't know, go tell ya mom about it.
3. Hey. Scamps, Bae, *possible guest-artists*, and I are not slaves to ya. So if we don't produce a sufficient amount of adoptables per full/new moon, I'm sorry. Truly. Just don't post saying "WHERE THE HORSES CODSWALLOP ARE MY ADOPTABLES FFUUUUUUU!"
4. IMPORTANT! Please only adopt 1 Moon Wolf per batch
5. IMPORTANT! Please only adopt 2 Moon Wolves per full/new moon.
6. No using any Moon Wolf lineart without permission from me.
7. IMPORTANT! Please do not ask if you can be an artist. Don't PM me asking to help. If I notice you hanging around and I see you are a decent enough artist, I'll PM you. Or maybe I'll have an ad up for it somewhere. c:

"Read the FAQ, fancy-pants." She says through the door. You sigh as more shimmering words appear before your eyes. But maybe these will answer some of your questions.

Some very un-original idea this ginger chick came up with. On the spot too. Let's give her a round of applause. c:


OK...so then, how do I get one?
If there are some available in the adoption centers (Scamps, Baes, or mine) post a form saying which one you want. This process is explained more in the adoption centers.


Cool! So, I want one, and I get one...but why is it an egg?
Because all mammals hatch out of eggs, silly! Didn't you know that? (or that the ginger was lazy...that too)


Oh. I don't really like my Moon Wolf...what do I do!
Hey, that's cool. Some people just don't like what they get, and they wanna throw a fit! you can either a) just drop the lonely guys off at the Pound, we'll take care of them there. And maybe give them to a person who'll love them! Hmmph! Or b) change your wolf's appearance with items that'll be for sale.


!! Hey, why is there a limit on these? What's the limit anyways, I didn't read the rules :D
If you didn't read the rules, STOP and read the rules. And the limit is 2 per full/new moon, and 1 per batch.


What's a batch?
A batch is one litter/other of Moon Wolves. (and a full/new moon is whatever moon it is when the babies are born. You can only get 2 during each)


OH, like cookies...COOL! I like my Moon Wolves a lot, and they like each other A LOT and want to have babies.
Great! Just commission Scamps, Bae, or I to breed them. They'll have babies, but you can only choose 1 out of your litter. The rest will be up for adoption in that specific person's adoption center! Just remember that they can only breed on a full/new moon. No other day. c:


How do YOU know when there is a full/new moon? Huh? Huh?

The Abandoned Pets Shack

This supposed 'shack' is a large room located within the Moon Wolves Adoption Agency. It has large fires roaring on every wall, and cushy rugs and an abundance of toys scattered around the floor. You see a couple Moon Wolves lounging comfortably on chewed up couches. It all feels...cozy. The lady that answered the door walks up to you.

"These are the abandoned Moon Wolves." She recites. "They have either been confiscated due to mistreatment or given because the owner cannot take care of them any more. See any ya like?" She asks, her red curls quivering slightly.

THE GUIDE~

You go up to the counter with the egg you have selected, pride emanating from every pore. The grumpy red-haired chick from the door is sitting at the desk, waiting to give you the special code. You approach, and set the egg gently on the table. Suddenly, the girl explodes.

"I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" She shouts, and begins waving her arms about wildly. You pull the egg back into the safety of your arms.

"I HAVE AN ADOPTION CENTER TO RUN! PEOPLE ASK ME ALL DAY IF I CAN PLEASE GIVE THEM CODES, AND I'M TIRED OF IT!" With that, she grabs her coat and runs off. Guess you'll have to figure this one out yourself...you seat yourself behind her desk and begin.

Well, there's a 'shell' to every image-link. And this is it. I'm here to show you how to fill that shell.

OK, well, if you're wondering what a URL is, then let me just tell ya. A URL is the address bar at the top of your screen. OK, everyone, look up there. I'm not kidding. Up at the top is a code, like an address, telling the computer (and you) where exactly you are. If you copy this link up there, and paste it here:

^^Then that is the first part of your 'shell.'

3: The image address:
The image address is very simple. OK, so let's say we have a Moon Wolf. I'll use my Tattoo, made by Bae.


All you do is your right click over the image. A toolbar should pop up. Scroll down the 'copy image location' or something similar to that. Then you have it in your clipboard. All you have to do is:

>right click where you want the image to be moved
>click paste on the toolbar that pops up. Now the image link should be there.

Then, with this image link, place the image brackets around it to show the image on CS.

4: Mashing them together:
The last and easiest part. c: Mashing them together. So, we take the 2 step, put it together with step 3, and you have your image-link.
