Why do you want this character? Where will you use it, and what will you use it for?
When I revamped this sweetie, I realized how much I loved her. Her gorgeous red-orange pelt with the pale yellow-tan accents is gorgeous, and her aqua eyes really tie her entire design together. I would use her both as an anthropomorphic character (more human-like, but not quite human) and as a feline character, though would mainly use her as a feline.
I will be using her on CS and in stories that I write. I will also try my best to get art of her. Should I win her, she shall have her own individual page on my Weebly character site.

As she stumbled through the rainy night, the red-brown cat panted heavily around the scruff in her mouth. She managed to leap into camp, waking half of the clan by setting the bundle down and yowling loudly. "Please, we need to help this poor child!"
Soon, cats had gathered all around her...some of them with uneasy eyes.
The leader appeared, standing near the center of the group of them. "Sharna. What is it you want, coming back here to us after what you did?"
"We both know I did nothing wrong, Smallstar," she said, standing her ground. "However, it is not I you should be concerned about. The child is ill and needs help and protection. It needs a family...which is something I cannot provide."
"Is it yours?" asked the leader, leaning down to sniff the bundle.
"No. I merely found it as I was walking along the grasslands."
Smallstar jerked back, a scowl on his face. "We do not take animals that aren't cats."
"If you raise him as one, he won't know the difference, I promise you."
"Take this thing out of camp. If it wants to live, it shall." Smallstar turned his back and called the cats back to the clan. Over his shoulder he yelled one final thing. "Sharna, if you're so concerned about it, why don't YOU take care of it?"
Sharna was soon left alone, the rain pelting both her and the squirming baby at her paws. She sighed, inwardly cursing the leader's stubborn streak as she picked the child up by the scruff of its neck once again. She turned and trotted out of camp, searching for the nearest place where she could find shelter for both herself and the child which she had found.

A few months later, the baby flying squirrel was perched atop Sharna's head, his tiny eyes flicking about rapidly as he observed his surroundings. "Mama?"
"Yes, dear?" responded Sharna, glancing up at the child.
"Where are we goin' today?"
"We're going to get some food."

Why do you want this character? Where will you use it, and what will you use it for?
I have seen this sweetie sitting in the kennels for awhile, and decided recently to try my hand for her. I love her design that is both lovely and simple at the same time. Her pale peach base with the light brown accents and tiny darker-brown spots really are very nice, and her white claws and brown eyes tie the entire design together beautifully.

My username is » Asterous «, but feel free to call me Aster! I like to draw and creative write in my free time. I am also a huge bookworm and enjoy Mystery,Fantasy, and Fiction books. Some of my favorite books are The Outsiders, Yellow Fever, Black Beauty, The Divergent Trilogy, and the Scorpio Races. My favorite shows are Doctor Who, My Little Pony, Sherlcok, Star Trek: The original series, Young Justice, and anything else superhero related. Why Do You Want These Characters? What Will You Use Them For?

A few weeks ago, I began looking through the kennels and tried to pick out which ones I wanted to try for. These certain individuals caught my eye automatically and a story began formulating in my head. Each one was just right for it! They seemed like such a great bunch of charector's with different personalities, but they work together as a great team, despite the differences. If I do win them, then you can bet your buttons they will be featured in several daily drawings and stories. Though my semester change is affecting how much writing and drawings i can do through the day, but I'll manage. They will also get a spot in my WIP charector thread.. I won't link it because it's kinda.. unorganized at the moment.

Why Do You Want Him?

Why do i want him, huh? Well, that's an easy one! He's just a gorgeous boy with a normal design. I really do enjoy character's with easier patterns and designs because they are easier to draw outside of CS on my own time. Why Do You Want Him?

I want this gorgeous boy because of his lack of design. The overall solid orange color was just gorgeous in it's own right. He's just so plain and normal and absolutely unique. Another element about him was his expression. Those gorgeous brown eyes were just so carefree and curious. They look like the eyes of a child, but there is something else. What ever happened to his leg? Better yet, what about his ears? The leg is gone, so obviously something happened. Could it have been an attack, or just a birth defect? More questions I want to dig deeper into and answer them.

Why Do You Want Him?

Honestly... i have no idea. When i first saw him, nothing really clicked. Like there was 0% connection. But as time wore on, i came to find myself drawn to him. He was just sitting there in his kennel collecting dust. Then i realized it. He was beautiful. I just feel like he a lot of potential to be a charector with a really unique personality and backstory. But he can't have that while sitting in a kennel, no can he?

The other part of why i want him is the eyepath. As a writer, that just kind of perks my curiosity with this boy. Why does he even wear the eyepatch? Does he even have an eye underneath? All questions that would be answered if i won him.

dear someone,

my life used to be a joy living, I was born into a small family of huskies. but my parents often noticed that I was different, but never acknowledged the real problem, the problem that would slaughter my future. my problem with myself.

the day was cold, two years ago, and snow lightly fell, the past few days it had fallen hard, leaving a white fluffy blanket around the town. my mother did not allow herself to exited the building, as her pups were due any minute now. after we arrived, me and my four siblings, which you will hear of later, our mother slipped out into the frosty blanket, for a game of fetch with the local humans.

I was the smallest, something you only think about, for husky sizes are on the larger side, but I was small. the humans had to take me and hand feed me, as I was over powered by my siblings, since they were normal and larger sizes.

when I became six months, mother allowed us to dip our paws into the fluffy white snow. it chilled my paws, so I quickly pulled them back, and allowed a bark to slip out of my throat. mother smirked at my ignorance, the snow was not alive.

when I was this age, I was quite dumb. my little brain couldn't comprehend anything that laid before me. though I attempted to make sense of the world around me, I could not. at the age I found myself loving to play tackle with my siblings, or pull a log around when owner strapped it onto out backs. little did I know these fun games were training.

mother was an amazing puller, she could pull anything, even the sled owner often rode on. he would yell words and mother would either speed up or slow down, it intrigued me. when owner began hooking the other pups up to miniature sleds, he skipped me. he would mumble under his breath that I was to small to pull. this made me begin to pressure myself into being better.

often, when we started eating solids, we would fight over the food. even though I was the smallest pup, I was able to easily take out my opponents with a good bite to the leg. this often times led to me being put in a cage for me "intolerable" behavior. owner never understood that I was trying to prove I was big enough.

when we reached almost a year mother became very ill. it was not a pleasant sight, though I never saw it because us pups were not allowed near her. owner must have cut her life source away, because I remember smelling death on that cold day. mother had been shot, for rabies.

with mother gone, we were worked harder, even me. owner had finally noticed my abilities and allowed me to pull. he often hit us for not fulfilling our parents expectations, which seemed ok at the time.

he abused us, he killed my sister.

the day I smelt my sister's death in the air I knew I needed to leave. after hours of being laughed at by my living siblings, I snuck off. before I left I grabbed the last thing that had my mother's scent on it, a bandana, bracelet, and a leg warmer. quickly I placed them onto designated areas and fled. the first night alone was hard, but the items I had stolen from my home kept me warm, with my mother's love.

the day's seemed to get slower and slower, and each day I made less progress. sometimes I got tangled in strings with blue beads on them, I was to lazy to remove them.

wait, I take that back, I am to lazy to remove them, this is my life right now, I am a traveler, I have no home. the ones I see while I continue my journey tell me I am to small and weak, that I should be dead within the next week, but sadly I am still on this earth.

this earth hurts my soul. it takes the good out of everything, and burns it in hell. this earth takes the best ones out of it, like my mother, and leaves the small and useless ones in it, such as me.

These 2 characters both caught my eye when I was scrolling through the kennels a while back. I wasn't 100% sure if I wanted to try for them since I have been having a huge writers block... But I thought I would give it my all and try to win these 2 babies. I feel that I might be able to have a strong connection with both of them. It took a while to think of a few idea's for these 2, but I finally thought of good plots. Keaton is very sneaky, he can go anywhere whenever he wants and not get caught. He has learned to be gentle with his paws from past experiences. Keaton usually uses this advantage that he has for helpful things, but sometimes he may be up to no good. Either way, you won't be surprised to see him creeping around during the night.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Keaton is an optimist. When something goes wrong, you can count on him to find a bright side to anything.

Let me tell you a little more about myself. I am an adult girl (in my twenties) who lives in Europe - The Netherlands. I am pregnant of a little baby girl who will be named Jessica. My Due date is April first. I can't wait to finally hold her in my arms!
I really love animals, characters, reading, writing and watching series online. Lately I am really working on my characters, to give them more art and details. You could say 2015 will be the year to really develop them

Why do you want this character?

To be really honest: I have no idea.
I have no character that would be a good mate for him.
I have too many male characters and I need more females, but still I end up trying out for a male one.
I normally don't like designs with (broken) hearts

So, why DO I want him? I guess some things are just meant to be. I didn't like him that much when I first saw him... But slowly this sneaky guy seemed to be making himself more attractive to me every day. I was scrolling over the kennels and he kept catching my eyes. I was afraid I'd let him collect dust once I'd win him, so I never applied for him before.
Untill this day, untill this very moment.
I love his design, I love his name, I love everything about him. Not just the lines of his artpieces, but basicly everything about him. I just have to try out for him before I really get obsessed by him. Or worse: if someone takes him home before I tried out. If someone else ends up winning him I'd be happy to see him go to a new home after all this time. But if I end up being the only one applying for him and I actually win him... That would make me so happy. I promise - no, I swear - that I will take good care of him. And if my biggest fear becomes reality (letting him collect dust) I promise I'll donate him back to the Pound of Love.

What will you use him for?

Gosh, these questions are tough. Let's do this in the order of what I will do.
First, add him to my succes story thread. This is where I keep all my winning forms. I sometimes look at them for more inspiration. If someone asks me for a critique or advice, I sometimes give them a link to this thread. This way it can inspire others and give them some ideas. I spend a lot of time on my forms, it'd be a waste to post them and never look at them again. I learn from them. I mean, compare the first page with the second page, there is a huge diffrence! Looking back at some early ones I am shocked I actually won them xD
Second, I'll add him to my Weebly I have a new one, because I no longer liked the old one. With my new character development idea it's easier to move them Every character I add will get some work done. Like more details, art, expanded history and/or personality etc. He'll have his own page and get more art in the future.
Third, and I already mentioned a little: I will give him more art and more writings. Like a diary, but then wih stories and not a new 'page' every day. When I really focus I will use a headshot of him as avatar to keep me inspired And he'll be in my trade settings.
I used to have a character development thread, but now I have my new Weebly I no longer use that thread. I add it to the new site and it's improved ^^

His name is Azrael. I Googled for the meaning of it and I must say it seems to suit him well, so I don't want to change it.


Azrael (Arabic) is often identified with the Archangel of Death in Islam, Hebrew lore, as well as Sikhism. The name literally means One Whom God Helps, in an adaptive form of Hebrew.

Even though he is names Azrael, others often use diffrent (nick)names for him. Some call him Az, others call him Azzy.
Thouh he isn't the most terrible guy tto hang out with, some decide to call him Devil, Satan and even Killy.
He never asked, but he thinks Killy comes from Kill. Most think his name - named after a Archangel of Death - means a bad thing. But it doesn't.
So he prefers to be called Az or Azzy. But if you decide to call him Killy or Devil he can see the humor in it. The only name he really dislikes is Satan.

I think you already know, but I'll tell you anyway: Azrael is male. The creator of the disign didn't mention changing the gender is a no-go, but he just looks male to me. So, I decided to keep him that way

Azrael is a Devil Puppy, but I am not sure how that will work out with my other characters. It is a very specific and unique breed...
I've decided to just call it canine species.

Azrael has a complicated personality. He used to be 'normal', but since others give him those weird nicknames and seem to avoid him, he's... changed. He can't help it, others just made him this way. He tries to be as normal as possible, but it's very hard for him. To make it easier to describe him, I'll describe his normal side and his down side.

Normal side:
Azreal can be a happy little fellow. He loves seeing his friends, hang out together and cause a little trouble from time to time. He isn't a big trouble maker, and often he himself is the victim when he desides to cause trouble.
In general Azrael is a calm and somewhat submissive guy. He just let the things that cross his path happen. He doesn't really care how or why things happen - they just do. He doesn't believe in luck or karma.
Azrael is a fast learner. Whatever you show him, he knows every detail the next day. He is always eager to learn more. Show him how to open a file on the computer and he can fix every computer issue the next week.
He is not a geek or nerd, he just is an easy learner.

Second, to all the judges of the last round: would you suggest that I come up with a toally new concept for Kennel 107, to have a chance in winning her? Since SabjeBammie said my form was bland (thanks a lot for being so honest by the way!). I would love to get an honest answer here too. Be as harsh as you want to be, I can stand it

And last: Might I remind you of something Roan. said last round about Kennel 107?

I'm going to request something to be added to kennel 107's kennel as I would like her name to stay the same if that's okay?

This can be added if the character isn't adopted out this round, but since there are already a few applications for it we can't change that right away. That won't be fair to those who applied and filled in the form according to the rules and requirements.

Its just because I also wanted to change her name, and I had a lot better plan for her with another name (yes the name is important for this kind of story I planed), but I wanted to ask Roan. first if it was okay. They said they would prefer the name to stay the same, so I decided to come up with a new plan for her and keep the name Roan. gave her.
Since its a new round, shouldnt this point be added to Kennel 107s info?
