History/Background (Show effort, most important part of form): he was born into an abnormally large pack with 2 alpha males and 10 females which is double the size of a normal pack but as he grew older he was eventually kicked out of the pack and forced to fend for himself on his journey he found other rejected males even a few females so created their own pack, where he is the alpha male.

I think this name suits her as she looks very unique and beautiful.

As a young pup she admired her mother and farther as they were the alphas, they were strong and fearless. Emiko wanted to be just like them, as a litter of 3 she was the youngest so it would be very unlikely she would become the alpha as her other 2 siblings were stronger. Because she was weaker than them she grew kinder and hung around the younger pup to play as her brother were training. As her farther didn't interact with Emiko her mother spent lots of time to teach her how to be kind and thoughtful. Secretly her mother was also teaching her how to hunt, She taught Emiko how to be respectful to the pray when killing. She learnt that all living creatures have a spirit and a meaning in life.

As time past and Emiko was now a young adult her opinion about the world had changed she now respected everything and was very gentle. However she was beginning to feel like an outcast in her pack, her brothers teased her that she was too kind and not aggressive. This made Emiko angry so she challenged her older brother, the one who loses will have to leave. It was ferocious fight and Emiko brother was surprised how strong she was but Emiko was still no match as she had been defeated, the other thing that Emiko did was hit her brothers tooth out of his mouth. Emiko mother was shocked at what had happened as she taught her to be kind. However it was in Emiko genes to be proud and she could not stand for her brothers attitude to her. She left the pack but kept the tooth, this would be a reminder that she lost the battle and that her rage took over her which wasn't right in her view.

Emiko crossed many different landscapes to find a place were she belonged, when she came across a little village, houses made of mud and straw. She was hungry so she went down and hid so that no one would see her. She observe the humans which look as though they were thirsty, there was not water in sight. Emiko sniffed the ground, she had learnt to search for water and that she could hear water flowing underground. She stepped out. The humans were scared but confused by why this AWD had came into their village, Emiko didn't look threatening to the humans so they watched her. Emiko found a patch of dry land and started to dig, the people gathered round, then water started to flow up from the ground at where Emiko was digging. The humans clapped and sang. Emiko was the first who drank that when she had finished she dug more to enable the humans to drink. They thanked Emiko and let her join the village, Emiko was happy to find a placed that she could help others. The humans worshipped her and named her Emiko and gave her food and shelter, She soon become part of the village. Her kind and gentle nature let the children play with her. She did not bite or scratch them. She only barked when enemies drew near. The humans hung the tooth around Emiko neck as they knew it was important to her and they added ear piercings and bracelets which was to help them to identify her. Emiko continued to live within the village protecting the village and the people.
Emiko was soon named as a God in the humans eyes, as she could find water. her nickname became Rain but most people call her Emiko.

Nicknames/Aliases:
Em/s is just about the only one you'll hear anyone call her, and in her limited group of friends, most are too formal to address her as such. Generally, she's used to her full name. When not wanting to say her real name, Em introduces hersefl as 'Rubies'.
Why do I want her?:
I've been on pursuit for a natural-coloured bird character for a while, and this fits the bill quite well. Also, macaws I personally always found beautiful, especially this specific breed (though I didn't know its name until now), and I'd love such a character.
Personality;;
While you would be hard-pressed to say Emeralds is stoic, she possesses a quality of concentration and awareness, carefully calculating what would be dangerous to give away and what would not. She is not naïve; she can tell a lie from a truth well enough, but years of living with long-domesticated birds means that she is unused to what a wild one thinks and acts like, for only recently has she come back to the forest. On such a note, she is still readjusting to her new home.

To an outsider, she appears a dreamer unable to concentrate on anything at once, but truly, she is intelligent... Though it is true that she drifts from subject to subject all too frequently. One moment you could be talking to her about trees, the next thing you know, she'll have started discussing the mythology of bird-dragons and whether they truly exist.

Emeralds is kind, regardless, constantly looking out for friends. However, she believes that no stranger's life is more important than hers, and will protect herself over even her best friends. She tends not to take insults well. She should truly have learned her lesson at this point, but still, she is all too daring.
History;;
The sound of cawing filled the air, red feathers flashing around like paper fans as two macaws perched on a branch of a tree. On this branch was a nest, which currently contained a light-coloured, shaking egg on which a crack was forming, growing ever larger as the bird inside fought to be free.

A year passed. The parrot hatched, and she remained nameless, for to a wild bird, names were useless. One might use a different set of sounds to refer to a different bird, but that was generally based off their impression of the creature. The bird was happy, generally, enjoying the colourful environment and constant adventure.

Then a human came.

She did not know what it was, of course, for never before had she seen one. She had been curious; she guessed it had food, for she thought she saw some in a pouch it had at its leg. Her parents had tried to convince her otherwise, but she flew towards the animal, and landed on its five-fingered paw.

It had displayed surprise at this, but also happiness. Yet she had not been able to figure out what it felt at the time, only that it was making noises she disliked the sound of. She considered flying away, but then it pulled some seeds out of the pouch. She ate them, and she was happy.

She had no idea how it happened, but soon she was in a large, cage-like enclosure in which there were many other birds. She sat perching on a fake branch until another parrot, a smaller one, flew up to her. In the language of the humans, it had said something, to which the answer had been a confused caw.

The smaller bird had switched to chirps then, of which she recognised, and she responded in kind. The humans came frequently, and she flew around, trying to pick up bits and pieces of their language. (She thought 'Hello' meant a cry for help for some time.)

Sometimes, she was able to convince herself that she was still in the rainforest, but the humans' speaking proved otherwise. They were never in her home. This place, she learned, was called an aviary, and she wanted to get out of it. She tried pecking at the netting, but it did not give.

She stayed in the enclosure for some time - a year or two? - and after a while, the flow of humans began to recede, as did the amount of food they got every day. She had been disgruntled by the second part, but the first, she was thrilled about.

Eventually the people stopped coming, and soon the door to the aviary was opened. She had flown out right then, heedless of the sound of chirps behind her as she left the place, gaining altitude with every flap.

She flew for a day, resting in trees of places called parks where she got the chance to, though she felt strange in them. They were not her home, nor were they the imitation of it. Both of these, at least, she was used to, but this was different. She beared with it, however, and eventually she found a forest - her home.

She was unused to the forest after so long of being in the aviary, yet she managed, for instincts called for her to sleep, to eat, to drink, without her needing to truly think about it. And she found a new friend as she searched for her parents: a parakeet, a male, who introduced himself as Peg. ("It is not a female name!" he had cried.)

When she was unable to give him a name of her own, he dubbed her Emeralds, for the bright green feathers on her wings. She took this as her own, then, using it when she needed a name to call herself. She found a tree hollow to rest in, and there she chose to stay until she managed to find her kin, for she refused to believe that all were dead.

Peg nested nearby her, on a large tree branch, and related to her his story, as she did hers, and again, she was happy.

He was origanally born in a jungle far away

He had a happy life. He had a good family. Lots of friends. Even a wife. Until one horrible day. Some poachers came and killed alot of the animals like the jaguars and frogs. The parrot family panicked. They didn't know what to do. Sadly Max's dad and sister were captured to sell as pets. Max, his mom, his brother, and his wife got away and flew across the jungle. They thought they were safe. They didn't realize more terror was going to come in the future

A few months later Max and his family had moved on from the whole tragic event although they were still mourning the loss of there father/husband. One night where everyone was sound asleep Max awoke to a strange noise. As if a bird was being tortured. He got up and looked around. it was dark like any other night, except for a strange orange red light in the distance. It seemed to be glowing. And it got bigger and closer. It was fire! It was burning the trees around him. He woke up his family and they flew away but along the way Max's wife got caught in a burning branch and fell down. Max was going to help her but his mom said ''it's pointless you will die to. She is gone Max now lets go!'' shocked and heart broken Max kept flying with his mom. But then as if a cloud exploded they were drenched in water and pushed to the ground. The last thing they heard before going unconcious was. ''blerr parrot look blo look!'' they laid there unconscious.


They woke up a few hours later in a weird room. There were blankets and pillows around and they were in cages! Max looked around and there were people surrounding him and his mom. max was horrified and tried to fly away but he was trapped. Then the girl person said '' It's ok little guy we won't hurt you!'' A few months passed and Max and his mom were both healed from there injury's and put up for adoption. Max was sent here and his mom was sent somewhere else. Now he is waiting to find his perfect home.
