What is a Nokturnal Fox?

❝A Nokturnal Fox is a small, domesticated species of fox bred from the result of a genetic mutation which produced a litter of highly unusual red foxes. When the unusual pups were crossed with other red foxes, the second gen. pups retained the unusual genetic mutation, and were born in a wide variety of strange colors. It appears this randomly appearing gene is dominant, allowing for a large amount of out-crossing, keeping the foxes healthy, while retaining the strange color mutations. Occasionally a normal red fox results from breeding two Nokturnal foxes, but this is very rare. The name comes from the creator of the species, Nok.❞

We can't always get an exact match, but if you tell us what colors and basic markings you'd like, then we can usually get a close match. These are difficult and time consuming, though, so we only give away Custom Imports on special occasions, in the form of a random raffle.❞
