I've been thinking about doing an entry for this competition for quite a while now, because I got an idea in my head just after seeing the "natrual colours"-part of the "bonus point". And I've felt like I rarely work with designs based on such colours, so I thought it would be a good challenge for me.

The thing I was thinking about the whole time while working with this was more or less the words "guardian of the forest". And from the very beginning I was certain that I would think it's a female to the very end (because this fellow was a female when I started with it), but now I'm not so sure what I think it is anymore ... Hm ... The lil' one lost its gender along the way, sadly.
And the sort of magic-glowing things came along after a while ... Because lol, let's face it. I like making glowing stuff. xD

And like hello ... I've no sense of time while working with character designs. o__o I had no idea I've been working with this for almost three hours. xD Lol, but whatever. #wurf I'm overly happy with the fact that it turned out just about exactly they way I had the design in my mind. ^^,
