What it is..
Reia's most prized possession is a shiny silver bracelet, that seems to glimmer in the same way as her eyes. Though, it is not just that! There is rusted key attached to the bracelet, and this key is the reason she treasures the bracelet so greatly. Though the key is rusty, and most other aruba would pay it no mind, Reia is puzzled by it. What does this odd little thing do? What purpose does it serve? All the other little things that she found that resemble it, seem to fit into a chest found somewhere else in the shipwreck it was found. Once Reia remembered that, she decided that this key, too, must have a box. And, what would that box be filled with? Jewels and gems? Golden coins, or rare artifacts? Reia likes to fantasize about the gorgeous items her key's box might hold, and the envious looks on all the other arubas' faces, when they realize how worthy her rusty key turned out to be.
Where she found it..
Reia found her precious key inside the wreckage of a trading ship washed away in a storm. The ship had crashed long before this aruba came upon it, but it happened to be one of her first times out looking for trinkets when she was young. Due to the age of the shipwreck, most aruba set their sights elsewhere, but Reia decided to give it a look. After about an hour, Reia, ever the impatient one, was set to quit, when her gaze was met with a disturbance under the water-worn wood. She swam closer, and after a moment of pawing at it, the sand that had settled dispersed. Reia lifted a shiny bracelet up to her maroon face for closer inspection. At first, she had scowled in displeasure, but since it was all she found, took the bracelet anyway. She hadn't had any luck the next day, or the day after. Reia would glare at the bracelet, but a few days later, news of a lucky aruba reached her ears. The aruba had found a key that opened up to a cave priceless treasures. Now, whether this was fact or fiction remains unknown to this day, but Reia took it to heart, and began to see her key in a new light. Constantly, she continues to brag about the great things her key will unlock.
