WME Valentines competition!
This year, as well as another (yes another) valentines thing, we will be running this contest!
What do you have to do?
It's coming up to valentines and nameless (this mascot, here: Nameless) is lonely, so your task is capture (draw) the perfect mate for her!
The details:
When designing a equid you need to consider the fact it will be a mascot, it will be used in generic art of equids, so the design needs to be memorable but easy to replicated.
The stallion will also be bred with nameless and other equids as part of contest prizes, so he needs to work well with Nameless, either complimenting her or contrasting her.
This will be design based. You don't need to think of a name or a personality as those come at a later date!
All you need to do is write the coat colour in the description, if you create something and are unsure I can give some help
You can enter multiple times.
Prizes:
1st Place:
- Your design as Nameless's official mate (you will be credited)
- You get a foal from Nameless and your stallion
- As well as a breeding slot to be used on any mare from your stallion
- You also receive a completely custom equid, which can be a rare coat like roan, skele, appy, etc.
- You receive a breeding slot from both Nameless and the stallion (can be used with each other or other mates)
- You get a full custom of a common coat equid (no roan, skele, dragon, etc.)
- You receive a slot to either Nameless or her new mate
- And a semi-custom equid (you choose the base coat, if it hard markings and the type/colour of quip but a artist will make the foal based on the description)
- You each receive a slot to either the new stallion or Nameless
Customs will be made by the artist of your choice if they are free (there is normally someone out there free) and slots to Nameless or the stallion do not have to be used with the stallion or Nameless, they can be bred to other equids quite happily.
Rules:
- This lineart is only for use in the competition. You must not use it to draw or make your own equids
- DO NOT MAKE COVERS. If you already have a cover you may continue to use it but new entrants must not use a cover.
- Once the winner has been chosen you may use your design (if it didn't win) for a custom at a later date
- Once the winning design is chosen the owner has agreed that the design can be used as a Mascot for the foreseeable future. In any contests containing the equid they will not be given preferential treatment. They agree that the design can be used at the species' owner's discretion, this includes commercial use, without later compensation unless offered.
- At the end date no more entries will be accepted
- You may withdraw up until the results are announced
- Prizes can be transferred to other players but customs must be claimed as soon as possible to ensure no misunderstandings at a later date
- You can enter more then once!
