Hmm, that's a tricky one.
Well, there's the basic options - you can uninstall any versions of Java you have and then reinstall, or try clearing the browser's cache. You could also disable Java in your browser and then re-enable it - that worked when it kept freezing Firefox on me for no apparent reason. Or have you tried all of that already?
