Beast: *cackles* Play some rocking tunes to kick the new years off.

Story:
Minty
Minty looked up at the sky, sitting with her new mate, Nike. "Nike, one day, do you think we can take our pigglets to see the ball drop?" She said, putting a hoof on her belly gently. "Maybe they already know what's happening?" Nike suggested, snuggling his mate closer. Minty smiled. "I think, maybe they are already here to." She said, softly sighing as they watched the countdown. Not a word was spoken as the numbers grew lower. "Happy New year." They said in sync, lost in the thought of their conversation. New life, for the new year.
Nefryt & Beast
The statue-piggle watched unmoving as a strange cloaked glowing piggle placed a firework on her(Nefryt)'s head. He cackled silently, spewing strange sparkling salvia all over Nefryt's head. Beast, for that was the mystery piggles name, lit a match and brought it close to the fuse. "Three, two..." Beast brought the match closer. "ONE!" He screeched lighting the fuse as the ball dropped, the firework rocketing off into the air, and one more lonely year gone by for Nefryt.

Aura glanced at the clock. Fifteen more minutes until utter chaos. Fifteen more minutes until she flipped the switch that would turn out all the lights and disrupt the festivities going on elsewhere in the building. She actually shivered in anticipation.

If she was caught, her plan would fail. She held her breath, hoping beyond hope that nobody would come out here. She was hidden in her friend Maelstrom's garage, sitting on the floor below the power circuit. She looked at the clock again. Only two more minutes.

She opened her eyes. It was time. She had counted the seconds down. She stood up and opened the control panel. After hitting a few switches, the lights were out. She grinned as she heard Maelstrom's angry shouts from above. “Aura!”

Laughing, she scrambled to open the door and exit the garage. She glanced at the sky, and her breath caught. The sky was lit with beautiful fireworks, their lights outshining even the brightest star. It was a night to remember, and nobody would forget it.
