Quick Question! How do I get the color codes? Or should I just pick a color closest to each?

I generally open the images in sumopaint or any other website where you can use the color picker tool, pick the color, get the color code (ex. #00000), double click the thing (idk how to describe omg. highlighted in red), enter the code, and there you go u v u

excuse me but quick question- you said we cant use any color outside of the colors given.. for any hair edits, can they at all be blended colors ( of the parents original colors )or a whole different color ? or do they have to be the given colors ?

Is it okay if we darken or lighten a color for the lines or shading? I know we can't use colors not in the palette, just wanting to make sure.
