Hi, I'm booklover789. I'm an adult who lives in the USA. I write and speak English fluently, and am currently learning American Sign Language as a second language.

I am a Christian, though not a weak or lenient one by any means. I am a fundamentalist, which means I believe that the Bible is the God-inspired work written by man, and that Christians should follow it to the letter and should abide by the rules within it. I take the Bible literally, as I think that Scripture tends to prove itself. Now, I don't follow the Old Testament's laws, as I believe that by Jesus Christ dying on the cross for my sins, He wiped out the old laws and put new ones into place - this is why I don't follow the Old Testament's laws but do follow the New Testament's laws.

I like Star Trek, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Heroes, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I also like quite a bit of animated Disney stuff, too. I ADORE reading and writing - hence my username. Yes, I'm definitely what you would call a "nerd" or "geek."

I have loved the Warriors series since I was a child. Written by Erin Hunter (a group of three female novelists), the book series centers around cats and how they live in the wild. I personally own Warriors: The Original Series (6 books), Warriors: The New Prophecy (6 books), Warriors: The Power of Three (6 books), Warriors: Omen of the Stars (6 books), The Rise of Scourge (manga novel), Warriors: Cats of the Clans (field guide), and Warriors: Secrets of the Clans (field guide). I have read all of the books I just listed except for the final series, Omen of the Stars, which I still have to read. I have not read the Dawn of the Clan (the series of prequels), nor have I read the majority of the Super Editions (thicker books with more detailed plotlines about things briefly touched on in the main series), and I still have to read quite a few manga novels and field guides. I cannot read e-books because I don't have a Kindle or any other e-reader device, so that limits my ability to read quite a few of the Warriors novels which are only available in e-book format. I have loved the entire series since I was little, and still like them today. Warriors is a GREAT series, and I recommend it for anyone who likes cats and action novels.

Fun Fact About the Art:
With every picture of the cats I colored in using Pudding Waffle's lines and background, I incorporated something into the background that wasn't originally there. Each item will be different, as each cat is different. There is one item per picture, and each item is hidden somewhere in the background, and will never be on the cat. I added them in just for fun - see if you can find them all!

I will be trying out for Kennel 124, which has the 5 kittens below in it - yes, it's a very large kennel. I will also be trying out for Kennel 125, which houses these kits' parents.

Where will you use these characters, and what will you use them for?
The moment this set was donated I fell in love with them and knew I had to try my hand at adopting them. The kits peaked my interest immediately - and after long contemplation on my part, I've also decided to try for the parents, too.
I will be using these little ones characters on CS and in stories that I write. I will also try my best to get art of them. Should I win them, they shall have their own individual pages on my Weebly character site.

Why do you want this character?
This little guy is the angry one of the bunch, and looks very determined and unhappy. Even so, he did catch my eye, what with the purple collar around his neck with spikes sticking out of it and his gorgeous brown pelt with cream accents. Brief Personality:
Stubborn, determined, is not easily persuaded as he persuades others, manipulative, ambitious, isn't afraid to do the dirty work if no one will do it for him, silent, creeps up on others, blends into shadow, deceives, lies, black sheep of the family, appearances aren't everything with him, wolf in sheep's clothing, prideful, looks down on the unintelligent, overly-confident, thinks he can do what he wants, rebellious, sneaky, patient, willing to wait for what he wants, and finds loopholes to get around the rules.

Personality:
Thorny Nettle is a prideful cat. He holds his head up high and looks down on others who he deems as less intelligent than he. He is overly-confident, letting himself get so puffed up with pride that he believes he can do anything he wants - and while every being has the choice to do whatever he/she wants, every being doesn't always make the right choosing to do everything he/she wants to do...though Thorny Nettle hasn't come to this realization. He thinks he can get away with anything, as he's gotten away with quite a bit in the past. He's not very concerned with rules, and will break every one he needs to so he can get what he wants - though he'll usually lie low, following the rules, and then find loopholes to where he can get to where he wants without causing too much alarm or attention. He's very sneaky and patient, as he's willing to wait years to get what he wants.

Thorny Nettle is gorgeous and he knows it. However, appearances are certainly not what they seem with this particular cat. He often uses his good looks to woo the ladies and get them to do whatever he wants them to do. While his outward appearance is beautiful, his inward appearance is not so lovely. He is the perfect example of a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Thorny Nettle is very stubborn. Determined by nature, he is rarely moved from his position on anything, and often is not persuaded, as he persuades himself. He is excellent at getting others to do what he wants them to do, and can manipulate most anyone he sees. He is ambitious, as he climbed the ranks quickly in his clan. He is willing to bowl over anyone who gets in his way, and isn't afraid to do the dirty work himself if his minions won't do it for him. He can be vengeful, and tends to take revenge into his own claws instead of leaving it to someone else to take care of. Because he's silent, he often seems to creep up on others, as he can easily blend into the shadows. He deceives with ease, and lies without batting an eyelash. He truly is the black sheep of the family in the worst sense possible - you'd be wise to steer clear of this guy at all costs.

Why do you want this character?
This little sweetie just looks like the last-born of the bunch - she appears happy and joyful, without a care in the world. Her bright green eyes drew me in, and her gorgeous pelt design kept me intrigued, as it is very similar to her brother's pelt - they both have brown bases with cream designs overtop. One can clearly tell that these two are related, even though their expressions and demeanors are as different as night is from day. Just by looking at this sweetheart I could tell that she would be the one to have an uplifting outlook and that she'd be completely opposite from her brother's depressing and snarky attitude, so the fact that they are siblings intrigued me, as one can tell just by looking at their refs that their personalities are completely different.

Adventurous, shows no fear in the face of adversity (or in the face of anything, for that matter), determined, tenacious, grips onto things that mean a lot to her, plunges into the unknown, often never realizes she was in danger to begin with, not the sharpest crayon in the box, willing to learn, can do anything if she slows down and fully understands what needs to be done, immature, naive, willing to work hard to get what she wants, sees the best in others, isn't cautious enough of others, overly trusting, silly, child-at-heart, happy, goofy, energetic, friendly, talkative, uplifting, joyful, relates well to most anyone she meets, and has an energy which is contagious.

Personality:
Leaping Adder is one of the most silly cats you'll ever meet. More child-like in demeanor than any of her siblings, she goofs around and is very energetic by nature. She is friendly and talkative, often making conversation with those whom she doesn't know very well. She is very uplifting, and isn't a Negative Nelly by any means. She is joyful and happy most of the time, and this happiness seems to be contagious to those who hang around her, as they don't tend to be unhappy cats when in her presence. She is definitely a child-at-heart, and relates well to practically any kit she meets.

While she isn't the sharpest crayon in the box, she is very willing to learn and if she slows down and listens carefully to those around her, she can pick up most anything. Because of her immaturity, she tends to be perceived as naive and unintelligent - and while she isn't the smartest cat alive, she is willing to work hard to get what she wants.

Leaping Adder is adventurous by nature, and she often can be seen plunging on ahead of her siblings on any trips that they take. She seems to show no fear in the face of adversity. Just as determined as her brother, she is tenacious by nature, clinging onto the things that are important to her. Unfortunately, this type of attitude isn't always the best, as Leaping Adder tends to plunge into danger at times, because she often doesn't see how dangerous things can be. She doesn't have the cognitive ability to fully understand how scary things can be, as she shows next to no fear at almost anything. This also comes back to bite her in regards to other cats. She sees the best in others, and often holds them higher than they should be held - Leaping Adder often will state that a cat would "never do anything like that," when in reality, that cat is capable of doing so much worse than Leaping Adder could even imagine. She rarely looks at other cats' bad sides, and for this reason, she often easily deceived and tricked...though she doesn't seem to learn her lesson, as she only continues to be overly trusting of others, when she should show more caution in regards to whom she makes friends with.

Why do you want this character?
This little boy looked confident and determined, but also joyful. He looked pleased, but not extremely happy. His lovely cream pelt with darker accents is quite nice, though very different from his siblings' designs, as all of them except him have dark bases instead of the cream base that he has. His green eyes match his sister's, though, and his stripes are very similar to his brother's, so there is evidence that these little ones are related, obviously. This guy looks like he can hold his own in a fight, but he also looks gentle enough to care for his family. This aspect of his demeanor intrigued me greatly.

If Snake Whisker is anything, it's active. He's always offering to help others, and often goes out hunting so that his family can rest. He loves to fight and hunt, and will spend hours in the forest - usually by himself. He likes being alone, but doesn't mind hanging around other cats, too. He can be gregarious or recluse, depending upon the cats whom he's interacting with and how his mood is on that day.

Snake Whisker is very protective of his siblings and parents. He can hold his own in a fight, and will stick up for his loved ones any day at any time. He's even willing to take the blame for things that they've done. He doesn't care much for his own life if he's not doing something good for someone else, and has stated so before. If he's not helping others or sticking up for them, he doesn't care what others do to him - while he may not like it when others make fun of him, he'd rather them make fun of him than of his family.

Snake Whisker is joyful, but only to an extent. He's not as happy as his younger sister, Leaping Adder, but he does try his best to keep his spirits up and to keep those around him joyful as well. He often cracks jokes and tries to get others to laugh, and like his sister, he helps others keep their spirits up, particularly if they're sad. He can't stand to see those whom he loves feeling badly, and will do most anything to help them out to the best of his abilities.

Why do you want this character?
This little boy looks like he's very cautious of the world around him. He doesn't look like the most uplifting cat around, though he certainly doesn't look as menacing as his brother. His pale eyes and plain fur don't seem to match his siblings' designs - though his tail does have stripes, and his fur does have the same sort of color palette that his siblings have, so he is related to them, though it isn't as clear as the other siblings just how close he is to his brothers and sisters. He seems a lot like an older brother, to me, because he gives off this aura of protection - like, the reason he's so cautious is because has to be because of his rambunctious younger siblings. Like, he has to look out for them, which is why he always sees the bad in things first, because if something is bad enough you'll have to protect the ones you love from that thing. His personality traits combined with his odd design really sets him apart from his other siblings and thus intrigues me.

Icy Mouse is protective, particularly of his younger siblings. He doesn't necessarily enjoy fighting, but he'll do so if he's protecting his family. Icy Mouse is also very cautious. The reason he's so cautious is because he has to look out for his younger siblings, which means that he's got to notice the bad things before they do so that he can save them from the things. He doesn't intervene in his siblings' lives very often, and when he does, you can guarantee that it's for a very good reason.

Icy Mouse is generally very recluse, and doesn't talk much to other cats. He keeps to himself for the majority of the time. He has become observant over the years due to his quietness, and usually notices things that others don't. He does very well at reading others, and often doesn't have to be told what someone else is thinking - he can just tell by observing him or her what he or she is thinking. Generally, you won't find a smile on his face, but he doesn't really let his emotions show for everyone to see - he prefers reading others and not letting his real feelings show.

Icy Mouse is fragile, but never lets this side show. He simply prefers to be perceived as gentle. Because other cats have made fun of him in the past, he sort of has a hard shell and doesn't think well of others - but when he's around his family, he is very gentle, patient, and calm. He doesn't lose his cool too often, as he thinks it makes one look weak when one cannot even have self-control, but he'll stick up for his loved ones if he has to. He walks with confidence, but honestly thinks so badly of others that he only does so to keep himself from getting hurt further.

Why do you want this character?
This female seems to be the only one with a normal color. Her abnormal eyes caught my attention, as they are mismatched in color. They're beautiful, just like this entire sweetie's design. Like the majority of her siblings, she has a dark base with darker paws. She has stripes only on her back legs, which is a little odd, seeing as most of her siblings have stripes on their backs or tails and not solely on their back legs, so this is a little different. Unlike any of her siblings, she has absolutely no cream coloring in her entire design. This I find to be the most odd of all...but I digress. Anyway, she gives off this aura of daintiness and fragility, though she may only be this way in body and not in mind. I see her as the intellectual one, the one who is smarter than the rest, but unable to carry out her plans due to being weak-in-body. Her strength lies within herself, and not within her fighting moves. Her different design intrigues me, as do her gorgeous different eyes.

Personality:
Flying Leaf is very intelligent. She is much smarter than her other siblings, even her older sister, as she stays quiet and observes her surroundings quite a bit. She's not introverted like her brother, Icy Mouse, but she IS quiet by nature. She'll talk to others and is more open to speaking to other cats than her brother is, as she doesn't have such a negative view of them as he does.

Flying Leaf may be strong in heart, spirit, and mind, but she is very weak in body. She's not the most fit cat around because of her medical issues, so she doesn't do well at fighting, training, or hunting. This practically immobilizes her, as cats of the clans have to fight, train, and hunt to survive. She is reliant upon her siblings and family to tend and care for her, and while she hates that she can't get up and do everything that they can, she is content staying at the camp most of the time, as she gets to hang out with the young kits and elders, telling the little ones stories and listening to them herself from the older cats.

Because Flying Leaf is very intelligent, she often sees what's going to happen before it really does. She cannot act to help those whom she loves, however, due to her poor physique. She just has to tell them what she sees and hope that they follow her advice. She hasn't intentionally steered anyone wrong as of yet, and she doesn't plan on doing so any time soon - honesty is a very big deal for her, and she hates being lied to, which is why she won't lie herself.

Why do you want this character?
After contemplating long and hard about this decision, I decided I'd go for not only the kits, but also the parents. I'd hate for them to be split up, and honestly, this is easier on my part, too, as I don't have to worry about the parents going to different users than the kits will be going to.
When I looked at this sweetie, the image of a doting, loving mother popped into my head. With this image came a brief personality: quiet, calm, and rarely ever angered. She seems like the perfect mother. She clearly has some Siamese in her lineage, and I will definitely tie that into her being. Her absolutely gorgeous blue eyes really compliment her overall design of extremes: both light and dark lie within the pattern in her pelt, and I think that will be present in her personality, as well.

Personality:
Fern Frost is very loving and motherly by nature. She hates to see others in pain, particularly those she loves dearly. She dotes on her children, reprimanding them when necessary, but not going overboard with her punishments. Fern Frost is rarely angered, and prides herself on being able to reign in her emotions. She feels deeply and loves wholeheartedly, and for these reasons, she cannot tolerate backstabbers. Her real emotions come forth when she finds out about betrayal, particularly if the beings who did the betraying were ones she knew personally.

For the most part, Fern Frost is quiet and calm. She helps others without expecting anything in return, and knows perfectly well that this state of mind confuses many she meets, but she doesn't really mind - she likes seeing others a bit confused, as it gives her an opportunity to do what she does best: instruct in a motherly fashion.

Fern Frost is very passionate about a few things, and if you get her talking about these, you'll soon see that she's very opinionated, though you'd never know she was that way unless you asked about these specific things, as she tends to not wish to make waves, so she stays silent about her opinions most of the time. If it's very important she'll speak up, but for the most part, she keeps to herself.

Fern Frost's pelt reflects who she is inside: extremes bottled into one being, both the light and dark residing within her heart. In her younger years the Medicine Cats thought she had bipolar disorder, but later found out that she had multiple personality disorder, instead. Fern Frost is really two completely different cats - the main one being the sweet mother that I've described above. The other side of her, however, has a different name - Flannerry. Flannerry is very cruel and vicious, and lashes out at others, even when they try to help her. Fern Frost doesn't lose control of herself very often, but when she does, Flannerry surfaces and takes over. Fern Frost often can't remember what happens when Flannerry takes control, and is usually told by her peers what she did at a later date. From destroying the food supply to scaring the kits half to death, Flannerry is a cruel and vicious cat by nature, cold-hearted and the exact opposite of Fern Frost and everything she stands for. One time, Fern Frost awoke in the middle of the woods, stuck in a ditch. She had to wait all night until the sunrise patrol came and helped her out. When they asked her what had happened, she responded shakily. "I d-d-don't know. One minute I was asleep, and the next minute I was out here."

Fern Frost counts it a miracle that her husband puts up with her. She thinks of herself as a burden to him, seeing as she can't even know what she's doing half of the time. He always sticks up for her and protects her as best as he can - though he admits that he can't protect her from her own mind. He tries to keep her calm and happy, so that she doesn't spiral down into depression and let Flannerry take control once again.

Why do you want this character?
After contemplating long and hard about this decision, I decided I'd go for not only the kits, but also the parents. I'd hate for them to be split up, and honestly, this is easier on my part, too, as I don't have to worry about the parents going to different users than the kits will be going to.
When I first looked at this guy, I had no wish to own him. He was the one thing that had stopped me from trying out for this kennel, quiet honestly, for a long time. But the more I looked at his wife and he, I decided that I had to adopt the kennel, and bit my tongue about how much I disliked him. Then, I actually started writing up his wife's personality. This is what helped me come to terms with trying out for him. I realized that he'd have to be a pretty great guy to deal with all of his wife's issues, and this then inspired me to write up his personality. I quickly decided that I wouldn't mind owning him as much as I had originally thought, and with my mind made up, I decided to put just as much heart and soul into adopting as I would for his kits and mate.

However, because he isn't very trustworthy and sees the worst in others, he tends to be overprotective of his children and his wife to outside forces. For this reason, he rarely leaves his mate's side.

Cedar Foot is extremely loving towards his family, particularly his wife, Fern Frost. Why do you want this character?
I fell in love with this cute little boy the first moment I laid eyes on him in his little red suit. I like natural designs and dogs and so, when I saw him, I just thought 'I have to have him. I've also never really had a dog to human shapeshifter so I thought that would be fun.
Where will you use it, and what will you use it for?
I will use him every day and never let him collect dust. Since my tablet broke, I will probably be unable to draw him here unless I feel up to using my laptop's mousepad, but I'll draw him traditionally every chance I get; in class, at home, etc. I'm a big writer and I'll make sure to include him in stories, poems, and in my roleplaying, which I do every day before and after school.

Benji is a huge gentleman. He feels he has to treat everyone the same even if he doesn't like someone. It never takes long for him to open up to strangers and, even if he doesn't know you, he'll sand up for you on a whim; as if you'd been friends forever. You'll know he's comfortable around you when he isn't afraid of talking to you about the geekiest things; like new books, movies, or shows coming out he's excited for and, when he gets talking, it's hard to get him to stop.
Benji's also one for adventure and traveling. There isn't one place in the world he doesn't want to see and he often takes pleasure in dragging friends and others along with him on his little escapades.He always thought the best adventures were those his friends accompanied him on, because when he got to share the excitement of finding something with someone else, it made everything a whole lot better.
And though he's normally nice to everyone, he has a short temper to those who lie. He has no time for people who deceive and aren't truthful. He certainly values truth above all else; save friendship.
Benji also has a hard time saying no to something he's been asked to do, as if he did say no he'd feel guilty for turning someone down. People normally take advantage of this fact and his kind disposition. But that's just how he is, too nice for his own good a lot of the time.
History
Benji was born into a normal litter, in a normal home in Oxford, England, and sold to a normal family much like his first. They took care of him while he was a puppy and, eventually, when the children of the house grew up one of them took responsibility of him. Life became hard after that. His new owner was always jumping from job to job because he could never seem to keep one and they had to move various times. Finally, they settled down when his owner began working for a photography company. The sweet life of being still was short lived as they began to travel all sorts of places; Paris, The Netherlands, they even went to Japan one year! It had always been Benji's dream to see what was beyond the same old boring streets he walked every day in England and finally he got the chance to do just that. So, of course he didn't object to all the traveling, especially since he'd made so many new friends around the world than he ever thought possible.

Why?: He loves anything fruity, but suet pudding smeared with jam and then rolled up, sometimes even served in pudding or drizzled with white chocolate, is something he grew up eating and reminds him of where he used to live with his family.

Why?: Benji grew up watching Doctor Who. How could he not like it? All the action, the adventure, and the history in it makes it so amazing and interesting. It's also a show that definitely makes you think and Benji loves to think and solve things.

Why do you want this character? I started getting into the warrior cat books like a week or two ago, so i really wanted to have some cat characters in which i can make them a warrior cat.
