Atka is usually quiet, sad, protective, strong, sneaky, and fast.

What does this flutterling protect?:

Deep within a snow-covered forest, is a clearing right at it's center. In the clearing, is a tree. The tree is very old, it's snow coated branches are bare of any leaves and swoop down towards the ground as if the tree itself was sad. It was obviously once a large, grand tree; branches thick and strong, lusheous green leaves adorned every branch, and the uniquely beautiful flutterlings that called the tree home. If one looked closely, they could see remnants of nests hidden within the branches. Some say that this tree once housed over a five hundred flutterlings of every shape, size, and color. But now, there are almost none.
There are many theories about what caused the flutterlings to disappear. One theory is that they all flew away one day and just never came back. Another is that a terrible winter killed all of them off. But what exactly happened?
Only Atka knows. Atka - afterall - is thought to be the only flutterling that still lives in the tree. Not many people have actually seen Atka, mainly because he likes to keep himself hidden, but they still know he's there because they can hear Atka's woeful cries that ring through the forest. He always sings at sunrise and sunset, no other times. Atka protects the tree with his life because it's the only thing he has left that connects to his past and his family.

Dra has a odd personality. He seems extremely friendly at times and would happily be hand-fed by some people but if approached by a stranger, Dra has the tendency to act violent or shy. Because of this Dra tries his best only to stick with his friends and not approach strangers or allow strangers to approach him.

Dra protects something that is very dear to him. What he protects is a small key. This key is extremely old and rusted but Dra refuses to clean it out of fear it might break. This key is dear to him because he grew up abandoned, rescued by a rescue center before a fox or other predator got him. And that key is the only thing he ever received from his parents and his only clue to who they are.
