Her scars on her arm were because she was tortured by the Forgotten. She lost her left eye, so it was replaced with a robotic style one. She also normally has a metal device-brace-like thing on her scarred arm that allows her to move it, because it was paralyzed. The scientifically modified brace-thing allows her to control it, though.
