Wᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ Nᴇᴡ Aʀᴄᴛɪᴄ!
Almost a hundred years in the future, Earth undergoes a ferocious new Ice Age. Most of the planet is smothered in snow and too cold to live in, but some lucky humans escaped to the equator and lasted out the deathly cold in slightly warmer temperatures. You are a descendant of these survivors, living in this frozen world almost two thousand years later, and you've been sent to the 'New Arctic' to investigate, and see if anything survived in the cold. The state once known as California is now as frozen as the rest of the northern hemisphere, but indeed, it seems some creatures survived. One of these interesting and well-adapted creatures you found was the 'Nardrake'.
Nardrakes ('Monoceros Draco') are friendly, fish-eating reptiles that vaguely resemble both dragons and narwhals. Technically, they're not related or even biologically similar to either, but 'sea-unicorn-lizards' just isn't as catchy. They come in a multitude of colours and patterns, and are surprisingly friendly for wild animals. They're also mimics, which means they'll repeat sounds that they hear - everything from a ringtone to your own words. Nardrakes are sociable and intelligent creatures with very thick skin, and there are plenty for you to take care of up here in the New Arctic.
Enamoured by these creatures from the moment you discovered them, you've become part of a sanctuary programme (along with your fellow travellers) to raise and take care of these resilient creatures - and hopefully learn from them.

When you adopt a Nardrake, it will appear in your collection, and you will recieve a PM with an image display code for the little guy you adopted. You can put this in your signature, or wherever you like, but please do not remove the link to the thread included in the image code!
A Nardrake's number will be replaced by an X if they've been adopted, so look carefully!

If you already have your full set of 6 Nardrakes but you really want another, you can leave a Nardrake here and it will be available for another person to collect. This works on a first-come first-serve basis, and an abandoned Nardrake can be claimed via PM or by post on the thread.

This is the New Arctic bank. The currency used here is gold, and it can be bought in several ways! You can use gold to purchase potions to change things about your Nardrake (usually in regards to breeding), or to exchange for premium Nardrakes. You can even buy items sometimes to decorate your Nardrakes with! But that's all to do with the shop, of course.
The bank itself is where you can obtain gold, and where you can keep an eye on how much you have.

Sᴀᴠɪɴɢs Aᴄᴄᴏᴜɴᴛs

No players currently have any savings.

Pᴜʀᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ Gᴏʟᴅ
There are several ways to get gold. You can buy them with CS pets, items, or C$, or win them in events and competitions. You also collect interest when you have money; gold in your savings account will be multiplied at the rate of 1.5/week. So, if you have 20 gold, for example, you'll get an extra 10 on the next Monday, taking your savings up to 30, and then an extra 15 after that.

The list below shows you how much gold (g) pets are worth. For example, if you wanted to get some gold, you could send me a Common 2013 pet on my wishlist and get the full total of their worths together - that's 10g, 10g, and 25g - or 45g in total. PM me if you have any questions!
