You have this sort of mentality where you're thinking like you've messed..something up.
There wasn't much in the first place, and I very much doubt anybody thinks any differently of you now that they know.
Would it be better if you discussed it with somebody? Or, perhaps, your crush?
You can definitely try distracting yourself. What do you like to do?
The more you try to "get over" him, the more you're going to like him. What I found worked best was to acknowledge that yea, there's something..(leads to other thoughts)
Remember it's just how you're thinking. The only person that can make things awkward in any situation is yourself. ;x
Hell, you could even own it. Be open that you're crushing.
Thank you for responding ^^
However... It's easier said than done. Problem is I have sensory processing disorder, so I already act like a complete idiot talking to people because I just don't really know how. With crushes, it just happens twice as much. Since he doesn't seem to return the feelings (really, who would?) my options are either to continue admitting to my feelings and acting like a stupid fool talking to him, or make an attempt to just forget about the feelings and act... Like less of a fool. It's a routine. This is not the first time this exact thing has happened
Problem is, now all of his friends are in on it. They're really hard to ignore, due to their close connections to my sister, and like I mentioned, their closeness to where I sit at lunch.
Other problem is, never in my life has someone been so hard to let go of. I've let go of exes I still loved easier than trying to forget feelings for this kid. It's rough on me and the feeling of "I'm an idiot" doesn't help
