Just thought I'd make an announcement.

First, the reminder that everyone can try out for 4 kennels this round instead of 3.

Second, In the spirit of Christmas, I've decided that the Pound of Love won't be quite a strict as we normally are on forms this round. So, if you don't finish every single last thing in your form by the end date, you may still win the character if the judges think you should! Now, this is not an excuse to deliberately not finish your form - we want to see well-created and totally awesome forms, as we always do. We here at the Pound of Love are hoping this Christmas will see the largest code drop we've ever had here, and we hope that you all enjoy and love the characters you adopt.

Some of the older kennels aren't being adopted out, so their designs can be changed to improve upon them and thus increase the likelihood of them being adopted. If a user has stated clearly in the "rules for adoption" that design changes aren't allowed, then revampers cannot change the designs, but if there is no such thing stated in the "rules for adoption," then revampers can change things about the original designs to improve them and make them look better to get them adopted out quicker. The same thing goes for changing the species.

If the adopter wishes to keep the original design and use that as the official design for the character, he/she has the option to do so. However, they also have the option of keeping the new, revamped design as the official design, too.

Revamping allows more options for users and may help get the characters adopted out sooner. This is why revamps exist at all.

I'd like to add that revamps are allowed as long as the artist and/or donator doesn't specificly mention that they prefer no design changes, BUT the revamp must somehow look or remind at the old/original image.
It's also possible to change the species if the artist and/or donator doesn't mention not to change it.
You can also add extras, like bracelets, a scarf, add a long tail - or a short one. Or make tuffed or hanging ears, or add wings.
But again, the artist and/or donator must agree. If the artist/donator don't want anything changed they should mention it with the donation, else it's allowed.

Small extra info: wishes of the artist go before the donator. If the donator allows edits and the artist doesn't, then the artist decides.
If the artist allows it and the donator don't, then changes are also not allowed.
Same goes for original donator and if someone donates it back. This can also include gender/name changes. Orininal owner has the heaviest vote.

Hello There! My name is » Asterous «, but feel free to call me Aster. My user is a word often spoken by one of my favorite comic characters, Robin, in a show titled Young Justice. I enjoy writing,singing,drawing,acting, and about every species of animal. I have tried out for a grand total of three kennels. The only one that I have gotten is Lèon, my little french puppy. With my histories, I like to put these characters into the real world and see the world through the eyes of a human rather than a normal animal. That gives better opportunity to mess around with different plots and conflicts.

History
➣ Matthew was born in a medium class home in Salem, Orgen. He had one older sibling named Clark whom he liked to wrestle and mess around with. Normal brother stuff. Growing up, he always loved to make people laugh. He would dress up in various costumes and put on little skits for his family. He really liked to see the way people enjoyed and laughed at his works.

When it was time for Matt to go to school, he wasn't nervous at all. He wanted to go and be open with his peers. He made many friends instantly, due to his comedic and over-friendly approach. During first grade, he met two girls named Makayla and Emilie. The trip became inseparable and were rarely seen without one another on the schoolyard. The rest of elementary school blew by fast, almost too fast. Before long, it was going to be time for the test of middle school.

Sixth thorough eighth grade wasn't as easy as Matt had expected. For one, Emilie had become reluctant to speak to anyone anymore. It bothered him to know that one of his oldest friend's was sad about something and he didn't know how to help her. So he did the one thing that he believed was going to make her smile again. On December 19,2001 Matt asked Emilie to be his girlfriend. She gratefully accepted the offer and gradually began to smile and be social again. On the downside, Matt was almost always forgetful of his class and out of class materials. His teachers weren't very amused by this at all. On top of all that, his grades didn't make his parents very happy. But after months of hard work and Emilie's tutoring, Matt and his crew were headed towards high school.

In high school, Matt got a little more responsible and decided to pursue a class and career in Drama. As a side course, Matt began to do culinary as well. When he was a freshman, Matt started to feel... different. Him and Emilie had been together for about years now, and trust me, he loved every second of it. But, he began to feel like being woth a female.. just wasn't right. He felt very insecure about these feelings and decided to keep playing straight to keep his companion's happiness up. Somehow, Emilie caught on to him just being not as upbeat as he usually was. So she took matters into her own paws, and sat him down after school one day. Matt feebly told her about these feelings and dreaded her reaction.

His friend listened silently and told him that she had figured out what Matt was feeling. She explained to him what being bisexual was, and how you can have feelings for both sexes. Matt was fascinated by the new information, but wasn't comfortable with going straight out and yelling it from the rooftop. The plan was to go ahead and break up, then keep the secret between them, and only them. But of course they swore to stay friends, and never turn their backs on each other in a hour of need. Currently, the two continue to battle high school as seniors, and keep Matt's secret hidden and kept safe.

Why do you want this character?
Where will you use it, and what will you use it for?

I want this guy because he reminds me of one of my favorite superhero's, Bucky Barnes. Bucky Barnes is sidekick to the famous captain America, and that is represented in the American flag themed heart on his chest. Bucky is also depicted as having Brown hair , Brown eyes, and is always smiling. This little pup here looks like one of those people that can really brighten up your day at anytime. If I do win him, he will be put in my many stories and drawing's that I do fairly often. I primarily draw with wooden pencils and use mechanical pencils to darken the lines. Plus, I am beginning to use colored pencils a little more often.

History:

Bucky never really knew his parents. He was raised in a local orphanage, local being the city of Brooklyn, New York. When he was little, the caretakers would often notice how the little pups mood could change at the drop of a hat. He could be happy and upbeat one minute then irritable and depressed the next. At six years of age, Buck was diagnosed woth bipolar disorder. Because of this, people wanting to adopt would merely pass him over. This made Bucky very distressed and resulted in his mood swings getting worse.

About two years later, the orphanage brought in another boy who's parents had passed on recently. Skinny, asthmatic, and a little to brave for his own worth, was Steve. Bucky was leary of the new comer at first, but eventually warmed up to the kid. He usually was the one who pulled the kid out of useless fights that of course, Steve couldn't win. Also, Steve gave Bucky some help and stress relief whenever he really needed it. In return, Bucky kept his friend from losing his hide, and was his line of defense against schoolyard bullies.

After the boys went and finished high school, it was time to make life decisions. Steve made the suggestion one evening to rent out an apartment. He said that the two men could split the rent cost. Bucky hesitantly agreed and began scouting for the cheapest one he could find on the market. See, Bucky was a waiter for a local restaurant, while Steve gave art classes at a community center. Not much money to buy apartments with. He eventually found a decent apartment for then to live in. One night, after he got home late from work, Bucky saw that there were college brochures by the couch. He was very confused and then finally got the message. Steve wanted to go to college, but didn't have the money to do so.

After another few months of work and overtime, Bucky surprised Steve on the eve of Valentine's Day with a very special gift. After all those months of hard work, Buck had coughed up enough money for his friend to get his degree. The other boy was so excited he burst into tears and thanked Bucky repeatedly. Another year went by, and in that time, Steve had gotten excepted into a college all the way out in Phoenix, Arizona. Though Bucky was happy for his friend, the light apartment seemed to dwindle and deteriorate as the weeks rolled on. He also started to notice that his memory was leaving him. It started out mild, then it got worse to the point he almost forgot his own name. Upon seeing a doctor, he was informed that he had developed short term memory loss. Currently, Bucky is learning how to cope and live with his memory loss. He also has gotten promoted to assistant manager at work.

To be honest.. I only have 2 horse characters out of my 20 something grand total. I want to have a variety of charector species, not just canines or felines. When I first saw him, I passed him by because I was looking at all the other species and worrying about other things. But after taking a good luck at his coloring at overall design, he just seemed like a gorgeous stallion who needed a lucky break. If by chance I win him, he will be featured in my short stories I do very often. I will try and order some art of him. Also I will draw him myself out of CS because of my Java being down and my overall inexperience with digital art.
