Swiftbreeze padded to the fresh kill pile. "Wonder what today will bring," she mewed, looking for something to do. Spotting a warm (well, warm for Polarclan) relatively not ice covered rock, she walked over and lay in the sunshine.

Crystalpaw was pacing impatiently at the mouth of the apprentice den. "When will Blizzardstar announce my warrior name," she wailed, "I'm too old to be an apprentice anymore!" And, she thought, it would be nice to escape from dull, boring chores like checking the elders for ticks.

Marshfoot saw that Maplefeather was still sleeping. Licking his cheek once before walking away, Marshfoot padded over to Swiftbreeze. "Hi," Marshfoot mewed.

"Oh, hi," Swiftbreeze mewed enthusiastically, "are you bored, cause we could do something together."
